I work in a v captured Scottish public sector organisation and have to grit my teeth a lot at the nonsense spouted but thanks to you and also the bravery of other women (and men) I'm starting to push back a little. I wouldn't have been able to without the courage of all these amazing people.

Thank you for standing up and staying strong in the face of so much hatred and controversy. For being a leading light in the early days when so very few people were stating that sex is binary. I am sure you gave many women, myself included, the confidence to continue to believe that - despite the strangest of discussions with intelligent people - men are not women! Empowering us to go into schools, workplaces, and do our little bit in pushing back.
I really love your books, too. All of my kids learned to love reading with Harry Potter, I spent many happy hours reading chapters out loud with a child snuggled in my arms, and then watched with great joy as they picked the books up to read by themselves.
