If you like -

  1. fashion
  2. make up
  3. Love Island
  4. going out for coffee in the morning

Then don’t worry about your chromosomes or whether you’ve got a vagina, that’s what it takes to be a typical woman according to IW’s latest X post!

But don’t they claim being a TW isn’t about gender stereotypes?

I've got Lisa Stanfield... I may not be a laydee.... but I'm all woman

Man I feel like a Wummin!

It's a camp version of womanhood. Camp is about performance and over exaggeration.

It sounds tiring to have to go out for coffee every morning and drink skinny lattes with almond milk (is that the correct womanly coffee to choose if you are a proper woman? Who decides the rules. IW presumably. We need to check with him) in a camp and over exaggerated way. Presumably we have to tart up first and wear trendy glamour kit. And giggle away with a "girlfriend". Exhausting. No wonder he looks like shit if he has to do that every day.

Daleksatemyshed · 20/07/2025 19:08

When they classed themselves as men they had a picture of how they wanted women to be, now they want to be that woman. Trouble is it only included clothes/ makeup/frivolities, they never took onboard work/ chores/ responsabilities, just the girly sexy bits

SigourneyHoward · 20/07/2025 19:13

Am also not wommaning very well - partly because I've never once wondered how many Helen's there are - unlike India

LobsterPants · 20/07/2025 19:13

In all seriousness though if he genuinely believes he is a biological woman now doesn’t this indicate some sort of serious mental health issue?

Absentmindedsmile · 20/07/2025 19:20

Tell you what India, no woman in history has ever fathered a child. You have, haven’t you? You absolute misogynistic cosplaying bellend.

MysteriousUsername · 20/07/2025 19:25

Let's see how I, someone born female scores on this.

  1. No idea about fashion. I wear clothes that are comfortable.
  2. Hate make up, it feels weird (sensory issues because I'm autistic)
  3. Never watched Love Island, no interest in reality shows.
  4. Hate coffee, it is the devil's drink. Also not keen on going out in the mornings, effort!

Oh no. I'm not a proper woman. I'm so glad India has let me know, and I will tell everyone I know I'm a man immediately. I'm sure my DP will be fine with now being a gay man.

And actually, I think this how most of the spicy straight couples I know actually think. Which is sad. They're now non binary precisely because they don't like these things that woman are supposed to like. Rather than thinking anyone can like or not like anything, it has nothing to do with their sex, just stupid stereotypes. But hey, why challenge stereotypes when you can be special and "queer" rather than a boring normal straight person.

O wow, this thread is still up!

IW and his flying ( or should I say fluttering) monkeys must be busy elsewhere

CaptainSevenofNine · 20/07/2025 19:30

Flip. I’m in bother then. How did I manage to birth a 10lb 12ish DS and I don’t like any of the 4 things listed??

DS is almost 19 and I’m still shocked at his birth weight. 😳

soupyspoon · 20/07/2025 19:31

KassandraOfSparta · 20/07/2025 17:53

Oh dear. I only score 1 out of 4 because I like going out for coffee. Does that mean i'm 75% something else?

Well Im sort of with you except that Im not supposed to drink coffee, so Im out!!

Quirkswork · 20/07/2025 19:34

Well you're clearly not a genuine woman if you don't comply with the four requirements. The mind boggles as to how nearly 11lbs came out of you. We need to ask IW how he does it.

EmpressaurusKitty · 20/07/2025 19:38

I often go for a coffee after I’ve finished my weightlifting & my sister made me watch Love Island once. It was crap.

No makeup since university.

Hmm….

PersephoneSmith · 20/07/2025 19:38

Are you sure you didn’t father the child? It’s just that that’s what India did, and he knows how to woman. He woman’s the best of all womans. So to be a proper woman, you need to have fathered a child see? Like India.

LittlleMy · 20/07/2025 19:39

Maybe decades ago, many women were into superficiality because they were seen as the weaker sex expected to like safe ‘feminine’ non political pursuits. However, with the advent of the women’s suffrage movement and the many fabulous women in education, science, sports and the arts who have been busy breaking barriers for us and redefining what a woman is and can be - I find it really offensive when trans women or non biological women whatever, roll out a list of ‘what it means to be a woman’ because it’s generally sexist and frivolous and I don’t care if it’s meant as a joke. I see it almost as a category of men still insidiously still subjugating women and belittling, reducing them to dresses and frippery. I think I’m especially angry as I’m a child of the 70s and had to really fight against my conservative immigrant parents who thought it was scandalous I wanted to leave my tiny terrace and go study in London. They kept telling me I’d fail, get raped etc and I almost had a mental break down with all the stress they put on me. When I graduated I then had to struggle as a brown female to get a good job. Today, I’m in a senior position with a detached home, minimal mortgage in a desirable part of my neck of the woods. And guess what, I did it all alone without my family and without a man. And through it all, I was a chubby bespectacled, baggy clothed wearing female introvert who hates coffee! That’s what a woman is according to me a biological woman!

(ps sorry for the rant but felt good! 😅)

Fortunately The Dame has the measure of IW.

TyroleanKnockabout · 20/07/2025 19:46

Why does IW not understand that we don’t give a shit about being feminine? We are literally critical of gender, it’s there in the feckin name 🤦‍♀️

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 20/07/2025 19:49

I only scored 1 out of 4 so there goes my womanhood 😥.

But equally I don't like:
Beer
Football
Not asking for directions

So I can't be a bloke either.

He really has lost it hasn't he, although he's not a 'transwomen' anymore, didn't you hear, he's completed his transition he's now a 100% 'ciswomen'. 🤮

Indeed - and we’re just a bunch of science deniers for not knowing that men can actually become biological women.

Silly old us eh

(That’s real woman by poison girls btw, for those who don’t like unidentified links)

WakeMeWhenCommonSenseReturns · 20/07/2025 19:51

That was a long winded way to say he still thinks he's more woman than the one who writes books.

If he likes fashion so much why is he dressed like a toddler in a wig?

I've got second hand embarrassment on India's behalf reading that tweet.

Bet he thinks the earth is flat and the moon is made of cheese too.

usedtobeaylis · 20/07/2025 19:54

I don't like any of things. Am I a man or non binary?

Why does he need hormones if he's a biological woman? 🤔
