All women welcome, pull up a pygmy hog, the bargerbil will serve you a drink, the flying squirrels will bring you something to read and the goats will do...I'm not entirely sure.

There may be more than the usual amount of chaos as we transition to the new thread.

Sounds like a perfectly reasonable thing to say. But I do work in education, so my benchmark may be a leetle bit different to most.

Summer holidays. They've gone home

What??? The quokkas have gone home?
The gerbils are at Woolly Hugs HQ.
Colin is in a relationship with an Orkney Lovely.

Who is left? Rosy? Spartipuss? A pig or two?

I've been sitting at one of the benches by the riverside, getting a bit of fresh air after being cooped up in the court room. The weeping willows are looking gorgeous trailing softly in the water. Swash's ship floats gently at anchor at the dock by the river mouth. Rosy waved from the forecastle. Everything is lush and quiet. Even the goats, nibbling at the grass, are enjoying the peace. One had been given a book by a confused flying squirrel. From what's left of the cover it was the Guinness Book of Records from 2012 so no great loss. It feels like it might rain. Just a gentle shower to refresh everything.

Yes, firmly moderate and looking for a more suitable political environment than at home. Also she likes cheese.

To be fair the skeleton crew of gerbils haven't exactly been rushed off their feet this week.

You can have Brains and Batshit. Brains is currently sulking as she thinks that the space available on the sofa isn't big enough for her (and her ego). Batshit is ensconced, sprawled out and fast asleep...

Incidentally, isn't Maud sweltering in that outfit, now that it's warmed up again?

Maud needs a nice summer outfit with polka dots. A linen jumpsuit perhaps, would be suitable for her busy lifestyle.

When you're really busy, you can't go to the loo fast enough in a jumpsuit...

Bar gerbil's been watching Westerns. She's got a brown derby hat, a striped weskit and a massive stick-on handle bar moustache. When she's not serving she's obsessively polishing a shot glass. She keeps polishing them into thin shards. She's on her third. And every drink, every single one, even tea, has to be slid down the bar. She's getting better at it but the bar is a sticky mess and the pygmy hogs have got completely rat arsed on the spillages.
