Totally agree. I see various posts across a number of different platforms of unions supporting the trans over women at marches and rallies. I think they turn up on the wrong side at the Let Women Speak events. This case coupled with the Northumbria Police Pride ruling might give the unions the shake up they need to support all their members equally, in line with the law and without favour or politics. Woman hating dinosaur bastards.

I’m a member of RCN. I really hope they have to give Sandie a huge payout.

I am disgusted with them.

I always comment on RCN fb posts and question when they are going to start supporting their overwhelming female membership in this matter but never get any response.

I read the blurb on various candidate’s cv when I have had opportunities to vote for a new board member etc but the reality of sex and biology is never mentioned by anyone so all I can do is vote for someone who hasn’t gone on about “inclusion” and hope that is code for not being a TRA.

All the unions seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet. Hope this wakes them all up.

Great news. The unions are being immensely powerful in trying to obstruct CASS and the need to safeguard children (the BMA, the teaching unions) and denying women their legal rights to safe single sex changing facilitites (Unison, the RCN etc)

You'd think given all the evidence of misogyny that runs rampant through so many unions, that they'd think carefully before dismissing women's workplace rights like this. But no 🙄

Good I hope she wins. 37 years I paid RCN subs and the one time I needed them they were rarer than chicken lips.

I hope she wins, I’ve left UNISON for their gender woo and the fact that they hark on about supporting women and then have a man in a women’s seat.

Hopefully, this, alongside other litigation, will bring about a much needed re-set.

Institutions need to face up to the fact they've embraced partisanship, convinced it’s the morally right thing to do. They need to recognise not only that they are breaking the law, but also that they’re backing the wrong kind of morality.

Good! She's paid her subs all those years and I think the main reason she was in the union was just in case something hit the proverbial fan. It's why most of us are in one!
For them to tell her that they wouldn't support her is horrendous. I hope she at the very least gets all her subs back with interest.
Hopefully it'll serve as a warning to other unions who might take a similar stance.
I really hope that whichever union might be an alternative for nurses suddenly has a huge influx of membership moving away from that one and voting with their feet too.

I was a member of a different union (NEU) and found them completely useless when I needed support.

They take your money but often seem to just toe the employers line when it comes to it rather than even try to defend their members.

They will never just stop, they enjoy it. The unions need to be destroyed and rebuilt by women.
