Council worker "lied" about police investigation of artist Victoria Culf

I dimly recall a news story about this last year. Artist Victoria Culf, while setting up an exhibition at Council premises (a museum), chatted about gender issues with a council worker (who brought up the subject). Subsequently the Council blocked her from easy access to her own exhibition, on the grounds of a police investigation into a hate crime. She is now suing the Council.

It now turns out (so her legal team claim) that there was no police investigation. The council worker made it all up. WTAF?

Id like to see the council employee in question prosecuted for making a false police report and lieing about said report including making up a crime number with a hate crime enhancement.

Its about time that the police not only stop taking these malicious claims of bigotry and hate as wasting police time and harassment, once they do and enough of these gender ideology bigots face jail terms for their hate will we see an end to this sort of behaviour

I doubt many people would get jail terms - but I agree a few prosecutions would save a lot of police time and public money. A few generous fines or suspended sentences would be enough.

Don't costs get passed on to local residents? I assumed that is why councils are very keen on legal action - in a way, they can't lose for that very reason.

The person responsible for this won't get punished - it's all kept in the family usually. If anything, they will prove more biddable in future, now someone has got something on them.

Not sure the police would go after them as the police and the council tend to be mates.

Such good news and I too hope that whichever council worker invented the Police crime number faced disciplinary action. I also hope that every other council, local authority, mayoral authority and government department in the country reads this result and checks their own activities.

This woman was an in your face ‘trans mum’ if you look at past pictures of local pride events - she was in all of them - not seen her at all lately …….
the first discussion I had with her was about her child not attending school and waiting for an ASD assessment (diagnosed at some point)…. The parent also got a autism diagnosis

I remember talking to her about the Hannah Barnes book and over representation of autistic teens etc and talking about a typical female presentation of autism versus male etc. within a month - this child was now a self ID boy still not in school but nothing about any med interventions etc the mum fully embraced the Trans rubbish and progress flags everywhere. A couple of friends went in to ask about booking a community space for women only - the booking got ‘lost’ - I happened to be at an event and she told me all about the Terf artist who she had banned from attending the venue even through the art was hanged (it was during the work being hanged that the conversation about puberty blockers took place) yes this woman is the I’ll tell everyone about how my child was burning in the wrong body etc - she went from being concerned about her child to full on embracing the whole rubbish in less than a year - I had even told her in my first conversation that I didn’t believe in it and it was dangerous etc etc

other stuff was going on the background that I won’t share but her employment ended very abruptly - initially I was told it was staff disciplinary but then other told me forced redundancy

it’s was horrifying to see how quickly she embraced the whole thing and was welcomed by the Pride lot - one of the key Ask Clive staff lives locally and she was very active with him and spouted the whole stonewall spiel and just called me a terf - and hateful - lost a fair few ‘friends’ over this as I was at that point very active in community based work

Should also say that she told me the police were fully on board as was the council - I asked someone senior if they were on board and they alluded to now having additional info - I guess this was about the false crime number - I didn’t know about this but she had told me that was being advised what to do but a friend who knows the law - I told it wasn’t but she just called a terf bigot
