I've been a little ill this week, and one thing that never fails to raise my spirits is Orson Welles, at the point in his career where he was advertising frozen peas and fish fingers, getting into an artistic argument with the Findus advertising bods.

Is it called "Slinky"?

I'm not sure what it is - did someone say meerkat? Meerkats have always been the elephant in the room in the Bluestocking - the most obvious cute furry animal in the world, so why don't we have any? I've always assumed it is to give a voice [and a job in catering] to more marginalised cute furry animals.

Watching the balancing act of this little cutie, I think I've found the ideal setting for it:
bringing Bluestocking-style furry cuteness to Swash's galleon!

Look at it - imagine everybody else hanging on grimly in the teeth of a Force 11, and there it is just standing tall..well, tall-for-a-meerkat, riding the bucking of the ship through the mountainous waves, little paws relaxed, little eyes fixed on the horizon, concentrating only on its important task: always looking Bluestocking cute for Swashy, whatever the weather

The gerbils put Gonorrhea's box of pre-made Blanket squares to good use and made a blanket for the Bluestocking Woolly Hugs snug.

I believe Granny Gibb did the gerbil square using a photo of Gonorrhea.

It’s the standing there tall…short…tall…sideways a bit…keeping her head in the same place that’s so amazing. I bet she doesn't get seasick with that ability!

That was so yesterday for our Boily, but is it sinister? Or coincidence?

DH is a Captain Scarlet fan, so yes. Ooh, love that one! I do like a nice colour shift.

I'm currently wearing Essie 'Empire State of Mind' (steely grey, very androidy) with Barry M 'Whimsical Dreams' over it (take that, Boily!) which has turned it a metallic pale turquoise which shines pink in strong sunlight, with toning colours of small glitter. Ring finger has a Leighton Denny silver holo glitter as well. Wowzers.
