Aiming to stand as a candidate on the Edinburgh list for the socttish parliament next year.

No explanation or mention of Edinburgh rape crisis, of course. Wadhwa is trans, so cannot possibly be expected to explain Wadhwa's actions with public money like any CEO would have to. No idea how anybody in the greens expects this to play out - maybe they are just hoping nobody will notice???

It's the very tip of a bizarre, very dispiriting iceberg. There's an interesting theory where countries which were historically batshit and repressive try to go too far the other way and become, well, just as batshit and repressive.

On top of everything, it's quite a, as they used to say, scathing indictment of the party list system, isn't it? But I don't imagine Scottish voters like that much anyway.

You'd think that given the planet is fucked, the party that sells itself on the basis that it can save it might pull itself together and concentrate on the issues that actually matter.

But planet be damned, according to the Greens the most important issue facing Scotland is how best to kowtow to a select group of whinging men.

That will suddenly make an appearance in their election campaigning (which will also completely fail to mention who the list candidate is). Unfortunately it only takes 6% of the electorate to be taken in by this to get a list MSP elected. Their name isn’t mentioned on the ballot.

I think that's the same system they're about to impose on us in Wales, next year we will no longer get to vote for a person, we'll just vote for a party and the party will then decide who our SM is. It's outrageous but there's nothing we can do to stop it.

The advertising photos I saw on X of Wadha made him look younger, feminine and friendly. Must be filtered as he normally looks like a fed-up man in a cardi.
Some voters may be fooled into feeling he has a warm outlook. Really it will be the me, me, me show with him.
