Coombes has previous for repeatedly wandering through women only changing rooms while elite girl swimmers were naked in order to get into their skin tight costumes. He generated an immediate rule change from Swim England, so clear was the safeguarding breach:

The more topless protests, the better. I couldn’t even tell which of those men was Ann. Luckily one had a blurry section over their chest.
It’s hard to see what all the hormones and surgery has achieved, it must be disappointing after all that effort, to look much like the other old men when you come down to the nitty gritty. It’s probably embarrassing because you are caught out in a big fat lie (I’m a normal woman) which is always undignified.

There’s a gentleman that swims at the same times I do at our local pool with a more impressive set of moobs than him, men don’t usually cover up their tops when they swim, but rash vests have become more popular recently for those that want to, my DH wears one to cover up a rather large scar.

Chances are he still has his todger as only a small minority of transwomen have had their testicles amputated and their penis turned inside out to make a pretend fanny.

For those of you interested in results - this was the Cornwall County Masters swim meet in April 2025. The results are split by age - Coombs was second in mens 50m breaststroke aged 65-69 years. There were only 2 men in that age group swimming. No idea if these are good times for his age. 'seed time' is how you're listed as racing pre-meet so they can order the heats. Completely misleading headline, as they were not in a men's race but an open one. Organisers renamed it open/women's specifically to accommodate trans. Biological women can compete in the open, and for all we know might have done. So really rather silly.
