Not sure what they think they'll achieve

Well I’ve just cringed myself inside out, so that’s a bit of an achievement!

So they are on the balcony above the offices of the EHRC - didn't even know there was a branch in Glasgow.

Chanting "End Segregation" like they are in the Jim Crow south, rather than members of a group that have had the sympathetic ear of Scotland's politicians, voluntary sector, health service and schools for well over a decade.

Still, this will get them the visuals they want, being manhandled into police vans etc.

I hope they have surrounded them with SOPEP barrier cushions, to soak up the wee.

(That's to stop oil spills from rigs and ships).

keeping men out of women’s spaces is no more segregation than keeping adults out of things designed for children or able bodied people out of things designed for people with disabilities

im childless - should I be able to self identify as a mother and barge my way into things designed for mothers like breast feeding groups claiming segregation if they say no? or should I accept that not every space is for me? Something TRA seem unable to do

There's an element of FAFO here, as the young people say.

So long as these kids are staying far away from the more unhinged elements, like Sarah Jane Baker, that's all to the good. I see some of them are camping out overnight again. I hope there is a police presence to oversee them.

Were they shouting "Let us go"? They weren't being held in any way so I don't quite understand what they're on about.

You can't even try and damage police vehicles, get in police's face and wrestle them (and push repeatedly for some minutes to get the reaction you're looking for) without the buggers arresting you as if you're doing something wrong.

But you do have that right, at least if you can convince them you’re male! I read not long ago about breastfeeding groups online welcoming transwomen and leaders of real-life groups (inc La Leche League) being ordered to do so!

But I agree, if you’re just an ordinary woman, you’d better not push your luck …

And today’s protesters want serious things like being allowed to wave their willies in women’s changing rooms. Not trivial stuff like staying employed and keeping their communities alive.
