...or is the purpose of spotting an anomaly not specifically to disregard it in order that it doesn't lead to an inaccurate conclusion?

If so, why is everyone fixating on DSDs as "proof" that sex is a spectrum, when the anomalous 1.7% (if indeed it is as high as that - from what I've read that figure is only achieved if you include conditions such as PCOS which have a tenuous claim at best to be one of the "intersex" variations) is clearly a set of results that don't fit. Because something has deviated from the norm. It's not like calculating the mean of a range of heights, FFS.

Please can someone more scientific than me explain what is going on here? Or is it simply that certain factions are so hell-bent on arguing that anyone with ladyfeels can be a woman they're happy to completely disregard any sort of science or logic in order to do so?

If you believe in conspiracy theories there is no need for us to continue to converse as I am only interested in reality. Have a good day.

Is it a conspiracy theory not to believe that this woman has ever been mistaken for a man?

Cis woman harassed by ‘transphobe’ who followed her into female toilet

A viral TikTok video has shown a cisgender woman getting confronted over her gender identity in a public toilet because she had short hair.

Please describe the top five, oh let's make it easier, the top three, ways in which a man can live as a woman.

Legal change including all documents.
Wearing women's clothing full time.
Telling people that's how they wish to be treated.

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 24/05/2025 12:56

Autie · 24/05/2025 12:52

Yes, I would happily get changed in front of a trans woman. Why wouldn't I? What might happen?

Do you know what happened to Katie Dolatowski's 10 and 12 year old victims?

Women don't need to do any of these things.

andtheworldrollson · 24/05/2025 12:57

do you have a precise number of sexual assulats by transowmen that is needed for you to agree that they should be treated like other men ?

do you have a precise number of sexual assaults in mixed sex spaces that you want to see to accept that mixed sex spaces are not a good idea ?

for many women that precise number is anything greater than zero

Autie · 24/05/2025 12:58

forgotmyusername1 · 24/05/2025 12:55

Well Katie dolatowski may try to rape you... she did after all sexually assault a 10 year old girl in the women's toilets of a supermarket

So far we've got 2 names maybe of trans women who did something terrible? So we shall ban all innocent trans women, assuming they're going to do the same thing.

Can't be anything wrong with that, surely?

Are there clothes all women wear then? If I’m not wearing those clothes am I not living as a woman?

Why do you think we ban all men from women's single sex spaces?

SigourneyHoward · 24/05/2025 12:58

What does 'telling people thats how they wish to be treated' mean in the context of living as a woman? If you mean it as an instruction to use female pronouns, allow them to use the female facilities, that isn't really 'living as a woman' is it - it is compelling others to pretend. Or did you mean your relative asked people to treat them differently - aka as a woman - if so what did that look like?

Haha!!

How is that living as a woman?? If I'm not wearing women's clothes, am I a man?

Telling people to treat you how you want to be treated? I've just done that, and you've ignored it!! I must be a man!!

Yes! Yes we do! for the same reason we ban ALL men from women’s spaces

my DH is absolutely lovely and woukdbt hurt anyone but he’s not allowed in women’s spaces because he’s male. All TW are male therefore theyre not allowed either

forgotmyusername1 · 24/05/2025 13:01

As of March 2024 62% of transwomen in prison (out of 245 inmates) were in there for sexual offences

So that is 152 names in a snap shot in time

Transwomen offend at exactly the same rate as other men. In fact, according to prison statistics, it's more.

sixty percent of the transwomen in prison are there for sex offences.

I have genuinely got changed in the same room as my trans sister-in-law before a night out and didn't once feel uncomfortable.

Considering how heated and defensive this issue is, surely there has been numerous attacks on women in women's spaces? There must be a reason other than transphobia.

A) there have been such attacks and b) how do you account for attacks that don't happen because vulnerable women self-exclude from their own facilities?

To be fair being ignored shows your definitely a woman!!

TW were listened to by the powers that be precisely because they were men

It's genuinely shocking that posters like @Autie just brush off the sexual assault of a 10 and 12 year old girl as if it's nothing and say it's not a good reason to deny men access to women's toilets.

forgotmyusername1 · 24/05/2025 13:03

Should we let Stefonknee Wollsht into a primary school? She does after all identify as a 6 year old girl

True. The definition of a woman is telling people how you wish to be treated. But also being ignored when you do.

We can't bloody win!

andtheworldrollson · 24/05/2025 13:03

In general I think it would be wrong to pull up a list of names of transgender women serving time for sexual offences - it feels a bit vigilante

what matters is that we see that transwomen are more likely to be in prison for sexual offsences than men who do not identify that way

that actually says that we should consider having changing rooms for none trans people ( male and female ) and changing rooms for trans people ( male and female ) before we allow transwomen to mix with women - purely based on risk

eduf to addi think that single sex is the more sensible

Even if they didn't have penises, we would know they are men, because if they were women no one would listen to them or give a shit about their identities.

I would ban "innocent" trans women too as they are men and I don't want to get changed in front of or pee next to men. So being an absolutely lovely individual does not mean they should be allowed into female single sex spaces. My dh is as nice as they come, but you wouldn't want to change in front of him either.

Keeptoiletssafe · 24/05/2025 13:05

@Autie Single sex toilets designs are safer for everyone but it relies on them being truly single sex. Your sibling would also benefit from going to a single sex toilet. This is because of the design of them in the UK.

I am not sure you’re in the UK but I can explain if you want.

Because the lack of clarity, the most vulnerable people have been put at much greater risk in public toilets. The clarity of the Supreme Court ruling has the potential to save lives and prevent assaults.

forgotmyusername1 · 24/05/2025 13:06

My question about whether she would happily get changed in front of kayla lemieux has been ignored. Care to answer that question Autie?

QuietlyLurkingintheCorner · 24/05/2025 13:10

'I'm only interested in reality' says the poster claiming that their male 'sister'-in-law should be considered the same as a biological female on account of his clothing choices and some cosmetic surgery 😒
