Just fancied a bit of relaxation. Put on Antiques Roadshow, up pops RMW, there's no escape!

It probably wasn’t a Luger at all. It just identified as a Luger. And a deactivated one at that.

Perhaps decorum should prevent me from asking, but does anyone know if RMW has had his Luger deactivated?

I'm sure he won't mind you knowing. He wrote a very detailed blog about his transition, including all the surgery, called Becoming Moira. I'm sure it's still out there if you want to read it.

Why would anyone in their right mind share such intimate details like that in a blog? The mind boggles as my dad would say. Mumsnet should do a branded eye bleach for use after reading such things.

@CervixSampler - presumably for the same reason a trans-identifying male posted a photograph of their wound site on Twitter, tagging in a specialist they had never before seen as a patient? A distorted sense of reality, perhaps, or an inflated sense of their own importance… or just because they can and want to?
