The last decade has been a long and arduous battle, and we wouldn’t have won it without the continued support and guidance of so many wonderful women on here and beyond.

For me, one woman who deserves a crown is Datun! She has been supporting women and children since day 1 with her outstanding intelligence, advice, and wit.

Datun has always been clear and informative on threads and taught me much. If I ever needed clarity I welcomed her posts because they didn’t just explain and inform, they did so without making me feel thick. FWR was a little hostile when I first started posting but I soon learnt why. FWR made me the feminist I am today.

I used to post under a different name and remember the Spartacus thread.
I have found the decade exhausting.

Thank you Datun, I dream of bumping into you one day at a feminist event. I'm in awe of your calm patience and razor sharp wit. We women have got you and JK Rowling on our side, how can we go wrong?

Sorry for any spelling errors or capitalisation mistakes, I'm in the middle of rushing around cooking for guests but I didn't want to miss this chance to express my profound gratitude for you and everyone else on here.

It's the only way I stand a chance of getting off the floor. I shuffle backwards up to the alter and with my back legs use it as a sort of springboard!
