The last decade has been a long and arduous battle, and we wouldn’t have won it without the continued support and guidance of so many wonderful women on here and beyond.

For me, one woman who deserves a crown is Datun! She has been supporting women and children since day 1 with her outstanding intelligence, advice, and wit.

Hear Hear! I have learned so much from Datun in the last few years across many, many threads. Take a bow Datun, you are a legend!

I've been (mainly) lurking here for a few years and it was Datun's posts (as well as others) which drew me in on many subjects under the sex and gender section of MN.

Thanks to her, and the others, I've been able to articulate evidenced arguments against the utter nonsense many people spout. Some of these people are dear friends who, over time, have come to realise exactly what has been going on and how the 'be kind' attitude works against women and girls.

Datun has been one of many who have helped me to understand better both objectively what has been happening around rights, and why I feel the way I do. When I first found my way here, I was genuinely wondering if I had gone stark staring bonkers (more than just the usual slight eccentricity), and if I had somehow to overcome my cognitive dissonance and believe utter nonsense.

I don't post much but for me it was TinselAngel (I hope I've got the name right) and all the transwidows. After a four year relationship with an AGP I looked for reassurance that I hadn't been wrong to end it and very quickly found a word for what I'd been through and lots of women with very similar stories. That was my peaking and I've been following these boards closely ever since. Thank you all!

I've noticed, since the result, emotions are really riding high. There's so much relief, solidarity and affection.
