The way you put this made me laugh.

Although a lot of commentary has asked in exasperation “why did we need the SC to tell us what a woman is?”, your comment brought it all into the sharpest relief.

Our Prime Minister - the Prime-fucking-Minister - welcomes a ruling in court on what defines a woman. Oh, such helpful “clarity”! There we all were stumbling around in the dark before the most senior judges in the country lit the way forward for us.

What a feeble little fool Starmer is - and what a pathetic, mealy-mouthed little lawyerly fool, at that.

Oh dear Lord, in less than a minute, he says give real clarity, has real clarity we needed clarity, important we have clarity.

This is what happens when you are completely wrong.

You have absolutely nowhere to go. I and millions of women could write reams. without using the same word twice, because we're right and we've got a million different ways of expressing it.

He has no other words, because he is incapable of articulating the SC concept, as fundamentally he has disagreed with it.

So all he can do is substitute an understanding that women are people too, with the non-partisan acceptance that something has been made clear to him.

That's it. His stance is that something has been made clear to him. The end.

The word clarity is going to come to mean you're all bitches, I lost, my hands are tied, let's move on
