A middle school in Illinois reportedly forced a class of 13-year-old girls to change in front of a trans-identified male student in the school locker rooms after a Physical Education class, according to the mother of one of the girls involved.

Assistant Principal Cathy Van Treese hauled the girls into her office and questioned them, before escorting them to their locker room and forcing them to change into their uniforms with the boy present. Van Treese was accompanied by Assistant Superintendent Joanna Ford and Director for Student Services Ginger Logemann.

These adults need to be sued in a personal capacity as the girls may of had no way of stopping the boy from accessing the room but the adults had not got a right to force the girls to remove clothing.

Awful story. Of course this is happening in some UK schools although I suspect the adults there are using more coercive control / peer pressure techniques on girls as opposed to direct threats.

I read this. It is a shameful action from those adults who should know better. How the fuck did this become something that is happening in one form or other around the world?

Those girls who still refused are tremendously brave, but I feel for those who felt they had to comply. The betrayal they may feel now or in the future when they process it may end up staying with them always. Just another instance of sex abuse but this time enforced by their school’s staff. It is abhorrent behaviour by those school staff.

So it's not enough for males to have access to female spaces but the females in them have to be forced to undress for them? Shameful.

Agreed. It’s one thing to believe they can’t legally keep the boy out of the girls’ changing room once he says the magic words, but quite another to actually force the girls to expose themselves to him.

As an aside, I am beginning to hate the word ‘inclusive’. I’ve started to associate it with stupidity and aggression against women.

The whole point for males wanting access to female spaces is that there are females using them. Voyeurism and indecent exposure are now legal for every male who says 'I identify as a woman/girl'.

And now teachers in schools are assisting boys in these crimes by insisting that girls have to get undressed in front of them and allow the boys to expose themselves.

This situation is unacceptable on every front, and it's crucial that we hold the staff responsible accountable for their actions.

As a side note... why is it in the US they are claiming that people are wanting to examine children's genitals for sports? To they honestly believe it is happening, has someone suggested its how they tell (instead of looking at the birth certificate) or is it all hyperbole?

It appears that the genital fetishists (seemingly very common amongst transactivists) have successfully persuaded adults with limited critical thinking skills that this is how sex is determined in sport for children. As opposed to honesty, the evidence of one's eyes, birth certificates and cheek swabs if necessary. It's DARVO on steroids.

That is pure evil. How could any sane headteacher force 13 yo girls to strip in front of a boy? How could any other teacher support this? Are Mumsnet and Reduxx the only sane places to be?

Good grief, what a horrible article! It almost beggars belief that not one, but three female teachers forced those girls to do that. They deserved to be sacked, banned from teaching and prosecuted.

When this craze finally breaks, adults like these teachers will claim they had no choice but to do what they did. They’ll never admit to being true believers who felt virtuous in bullying these young girls for ideological reasons.

It appears to be a suburb of Chicago which doesn't surprise me. There's other parts of Illinois that if they tried this they'd get their ass handed to them but that area is a completely lost cause. They are the epitome of so open minded their brains fell out

Those three women should be forced to undress in front of all the parents and all the children and maybe then they would understand why girls and women want and need privacy.

I also hate the word inclusive. I hate rainbows, the word diversity and trans woman (with or without a space). I never understood why T was added to LGB as it isn't a sexual orientation. If it is then they are porn addled males who get off on dressing as women in public and that's sick. It's also insulting as they like being humiliated and they think being a woman is being a lesser human being, a costume. I can't understand why these women cannot see how offensive the whole trans cause is and why they want to be seen as such ardent supporters of child abuse.

Pre DNA for World/ Olympic and other high level sports the only way to fairly "prove" that the person entered was not a male "ringer" or a male with a DSD was for a "medical". From wiki it was introduced in the 30's due to males with a DSD wining in the womens class.

So a woman engaged in high level sports had to get naked infront of a panel to prove she was not a man but a man never had to get naked to prove he was a man.

This method was replaced by other tests as science allowed for sex testing.

All the news so far still uses words like 'allegedly' and 'reportedly'.
Don't get me wrong, assuming it's accurate, I'm aghast at it; I just want to be absolutely sure these girls were forced to stay and change in the room with a boy.

The child's mother is on you tube here at the school meeting in Matt Walch's podcast, (3 minutes in) and he also features the opponants at the meeting. As usual the needs of the girls are completely sidelined and the girls are just expected to comply -their rights to privicy are completely ignored.
