I struggle to think of anyone I know who lives in London who has a good word to say about him.

London is our capital city. We have a right to have opinions on its mayor whether we live there or not

Better not have an opinion about Trump then, unless you live in the US.

Also, surely, the demographics in London massively favour Labour. There are a lot fewer natural Tory voters in London than Labour voters. BJ was a bit of a one-off, but most candidates with a red rosette would get a grudging acceptance. It doesn't denote any great personal enthusiasm.
