Last year I asked @SadiqKhan to take some personal leadership speak out on #FGM and forced Marriage. He not only refused but shouted at me. Today @sajidjavid the Home Sec stands with survivors and activist and is taking the issues on. He is leading and seeking to save lives.

A reasonable answer would be to say that he is horrified by reports , he wants to find out more. Or even to talk about county lines. That would have made him look better.
