Time for a game.

What film scene did I ask AI to recreate?

Probably needed more cast members for this one!

Blimey, Maggers. Is that what happened to all those eggs???

Boily,
Ghost
Titanic
R&J
Full Monty. Which my autocorrect wanted to be Gull Monty. Where's Steven and Kevin when you need them?

🏆

The seagulls are off working cash in hand somewhere!

Apparently so! I feel we're maybe being a tad irresponsible as parents. Do you think anyone would like to adopt an auk? Or two?

And this one

Disappointed that the AI doesn't know how many funnels the Titanic had... But did you know the fourth one was a dummy funnel, not connected to the engines?

Those pictures are fab. I did find the seagulls, but they are looking a bit menacing from some angles...

Lovely light in that first image, Inky. Although the beetle seems to have escaped from the Genetics Lab, having been injected with bird genes, not sure what kind.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 17/12/2024 01:18

Fuzzy & Magpie, thanks for not requesting a baby shower. It would've got quite expensive for the rest of us.

Try asking the AI to make escapees from the genetics lab, and it doesn't seem to want to. On the other hand if you don't ask it to make genetic mutations, well! genetic mutations abound.
Lovely evening pictured, with the Experiments drinking their hot chocolate at the Bluestocking. I'm not sure who's in charge - might be the goats.

Very pleased to see a Bluestockinger playing the double bass. It's meeeeeee!

FuzzyPuffling · 17/12/2024 07:29

What's that furry bobble thing under Dr Blackbird's tail? It looks quite cute.

PriOn1 · 17/12/2024 07:54

Loving all the AI art. I just popped in to see the mysterious contents of a Blue Christmas Stocking and of course, they are entirely satisfactory.

Have a lovely day!

Magpiecomplex · 17/12/2024 08:30

The Bluestocking Experiments sounds like a barbershop quartet. Will they be giving Christmas performances?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 17/12/2024 11:22

Sorry I have been a bit quiet in here recently. I have been reading, and looking in awe at all the AI art.

I have succumbed, and bought the supplies for a new craft endeavour - my dsis gave me an Amazon voucher for my birthday, so I have a Lino cutting set, and a book on lino cutting, so I can have a go at that next year. At the moment, my ambition and optimism are high, and my intention is to try to make Christmas cards for next year - we shall see how that pans out.

Last year's crafting resolution was to do some patchwork quilting - I have the fabric and the paper hexagons (I do English paper piecing), but no patchworking has actually been done. Maybe in 2025....

Things are a little difficult chez Woley, at the moment. The dog still has a poorly paw (the vet thinks there might be something in the pad, and she's had lots of antibiotics, but is currently off all tablets, in the hope that whatever it is, will come to a head and get expelled), and dh is worried about Christmas - we are taking the dogs with us, down to Ipswich, to see ds1 and his family, which is the longest drive we've ever done with the dogs, and means staying in a hotel, and being away from our vet.

There is also stuff to get done before we go - and normal day to day stuff too, as well as work for dh, plus picking up the new car later on this week, then getting it set up for the drive down next Monday, and dh had a bit of a wobble yesterday, and needed hugs, and fish and chips for his tea. Fingers crossed he feels a bit better today.

I am going to make the packing list for the weekend, and a to do list, so I can start knocking off some of the jobs that need doing, which will hopefully help him.

MarieDeGournay · 17/12/2024 14:27

You have a lot on your plate, Woley, hope it all goes well and all are restored to four-footed fleetness and non-wobbliness, or two-footed fleetness and non-wobbliness, where appropriateSmile
Your crafting intentions are impressive - lino-cutting sounds great and your 2025 Christmas Cards should be very wonderful and very arty!

It's comforting to know you still haven't got around to the actual patchworking bit of patchworking, makes me feel better for all the crafty things I never got around to doing this year, the model kits I was given two chrismasses ago that have never even made it out of the box....Hmm

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 17/12/2024 14:37

We are sisters under the skin, @MarieDeGournay - I have a shameful number of unopened kits. I think my resolution for 2025 will be to complete some of them. Or at least one.

ErrolTheDragon · 17/12/2024 14:44

I'm very uncrafty. I feel like there might be things I'll enjoy when I'm retired but not sure what to try. My main creative efforts (other than work) are in the garden but I'm not at all good at design or doing things at the right time.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 17/12/2024 14:47

dh had a bit of a wobble yesterday, and needed hugs, and fish and chips for his tea

Aw. I hope all will be well for you, DH & the dogs, Woley.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 17/12/2024 16:46

Things are better today, thank you - I think writing out the to do list helped.

And we are off to see The Nutcracker at the cinema (filmed from Covent Garden) - a final birthday treat.
