"The lawsuit accuses Dr. Olson-Kennedy of prescribing the plaintiff, then a newly-gender-questioning 12 year old, puberty blockers following a single cursory appointment and no assessment with a mental health professional; of coercing the girl’s wary parents into consenting to testosterone therapy by insisting their child, who had no history of suicidality, would kill herself without such irreversible treatment; and of failing to provide the family with proper informed consent.
It was only after the girl started taking testosterone at age 13 and had her breasts surgically removed the following year that she actually became suicidal and tried to take her own life, according to the suit. The girl reportedly suffered increasingly severe psychosis, including auditory and visual hallucinations. Dr. Olson-Kennedy ultimately recommended a hysterectomy when the girl was 17."

That woman is a monster.

Unfortunately, the paper trail that shines a light on Dr Olson-Kennedy’s approach to Ms Breen’s care does not exist for her former therapist, whom we also contacted for comment. California state law requires therapists to retain patient visit notes for five years. But the therapist Ms Breen is suing told us, via a lawyer, that almost all of the notes were unavailable, due to water damage.

How convenient for the therapist.

Good! I hope Breen gets a massive payout. It's a disgrace what's been done to children by these idiots.

There is something seriously wrong with these people who knowingly do such terrible, irreversible damage to children and young people. It's psychotic and thoroughly evil.

Absolutely psychotic. Because she will have been (and still will be) 100% clear that she is being righteous and good.

More importantly that this woman loses her medical licence so as never to harm another child. And that this case sends a blast of cold air over ‘gender affirming care’.

thats the least of it. How the hell can it be legal to cut the tits off a 14 year old girl? Prison time, surely for this?

How convenient for the therapist.

I'm not sure. I think from a legal perspective, if the claimant claims one thing and the therapist can only refute it based on memory, rather than notes, a judge is more likely to side with the claimant. So the only reason this would be convenient for the therapist is if the notes were so damning it would be worse than that. So I think it’s a case of lose-lose massively for the therapist.

Let the lawsuits roll in! I have fed up with watching vulnerable teenagers being peddled bullshit and being harmed. That includes in real life

She needs to be sued to the point of homelessness, and the her homelessness needs to be solved by a very very long jail sentence.

She’s a menace- the worst kind, who are persuaded as to their own virtue.

The woman suing, Clementine, spoke to Billboard Chris randomly before all this. His tweet has the video from their chance encounter that time. Listening to her talk so openly is heartbreaking and she’s so clear on what happened. How anyone can still support this treatment…

It’s horrendous- poor Clementine; heartbreaking and I hope she can recover from this. Truly shocking.
I hope she wins this, gets lots of dollars.
And surely a prison sentence is warranted??

Reading about the course of treatment was shocking. Cursory.

These hyperspecialist clinics for children, separated from holistic understanding of paediatric and adolescent development, are so dangerous. Hammer diagnoses nail, over and over again.

It's like an assembly line.

I've thought of a solution to the trans women in prison issue.

Put Johanna Olson-Kennedgy, Siadbh Gallagher, Susie Green and Helen Webberley in prison, and then put all the trans women prisoners in with them.

Clementine’s story is heartbreaking. She was sexually abused aged 6, lived with a very difficult brother, aged 12 was discussing with a counsellor whether she was gay or bi (tragic that a barely adolescent child is worried about this), aged 13 started onPBs, aged 14 given a double mastectomy.

She has been failed by so many adults including her own parents, and physically irreversibly and deliberately damaged by medical professionals. I’d like to see these adult heads roll.

This is a horrifying, heartbreaking story. I hope she gets a payout and shines a light on what happened.
