Green Party’s “persecution of women and gender critical members must end”.

The Green Party of England and Wales has long been utterly captured by transgenderism. Long-standing, hard-working members have been vilified and in some cases forced out of the party. Many other environmentalists have left in despair at the environment being pushed down the list of priorities.

The Green Women’s Declaration today published an open letter to the party leadership, stating that the persecution of women and GC members must end.

You do wonder what the driver is if they know it’s a vote loser. It’s not an obvious moral case like equal marriage.

I think for a lot of politicians etc who were not really thinking for themselves,
'trans right are human rights' sounded much the same as 'gay rights' or 'marriage equality' and they just went along with it as it seemed to be in keeping with the public mood.

We also had an angry, cross-community response to a referendum which proposed the removal of the word 'woman' from some articles in our Constitution. I think that put the frighteners on a lot of politicians!

I have a sneaking feeling that the grassroots/backbenchers never bought into the genderwoo policies, and asserted their influence in the run-up to the election to remove pro-trans policies in manifestoes and campaign material.

Read this Report on the Green AGM at beginning of November:
https://greensinexile.org.uk/green-party-agm-discord-and-leadership-challenges

Signs of panic over the implications of the Greens illegal sexism.

The next court case is Dawn Furness a Strike Out Case Hearing due in November was rescheduled.

Dawn Furness vs GPEW Statement

Dawn's case is very strong as the Green sexists are not only bigots, but stupid as well. Gardening needed though. So things are developing.

Is that the Pornhub at the centre of huge American lawsuits by individuals (including children) who had been trafficked and raped and had their abuse uploading to Pornhub who refused to remove it? Who have just had to take down 90% of their videos?

Pornhub "didn't have to" take down x% of their videos, they made the choice to blanket remove all videos uploaded by non-verified users, and by the time they did this they were already only permitting new uploads by verified users.

The claim Julie Bindel made about Pornhub having a "war r*pe" category however, is an outright lie.

PuffinCliffs · 02/12/2024 15:33

Ah. Christinapple back to explain why we should thank the Scottish Greens for an SNP amendment to an SNP bill that was passed with a majority that didn’t require the Greens?

Funny how court cases focus your mind when you have been profiting from sex trafficking and illegal activity

Gender Identity has a long history of forced teaming and hollowing out other interest groups. The best examples are obviously Stonewall and Pride, but they tried it with Black Lives Matter too, and obviously they’re well-embedded in the Green Part - massively disadvantaging the environmental movement.

Even our local (non-affiliated) climate action group ran a ‘teach-in’ about direct action in support of ‘marginalised communities’. Apparently action to help the community reduce its carbon footprint isn’t quite as important 🙄

Will no one think of all the carbon emissions generated by servers hosting posts and blogs by TRAs?!?

Will get onto that after thinking about all the harmful cross sex hormones contaminating the environment plus the environmental impact of pharmaceutical companies making them.

TempestTost · 02/12/2024 17:49

The Greens lost all their seats but one because they were the junior party in a 3-way coalition, and the junior party always carries the can for all the failings of a coalition government; and because the majority of the electorate either don't care about the environment, or feel that environmental protection measures impact too heavily on the most economically disadvantaged. Or both.

I think there is an important third option, and maybe a fourth:

They think it's important, but don't believe the Green policies around it are any good, and

They think it's important but the polices are no better than some other parties policies.

All those four options can co-exist too.

Sexwork (or "prostitution") is a very complex issue, and there are different approaches for it.

The Green Party are supporting decriminalisation, the approach advocated for by local and Int human rights orgs, health orgs, STD/AIDs/HIV orgs, anti-trafficking orgs and sexworker orgs (women and some men who sell or have sold physical contact sexual services themselves). But maybe "green party women" know better.

This is based on what is in the best interest for the sexworkers- their safety, not being murdered (a problem in Nordic Model France where clients want to meet in more secluded locations), not being hurt/robbed etc and being able to feel they can contact the police if they are, having choices both relating to their life and their work, being able to work together for safety without being criminalised, being able to rent property, being able to legally hire a driver or someone to make a website for them, being allowed to use condoms, not being harassed by the police who make hoax bookings to get their address and stalk their homes (Swedish police do this), not being discriminated against (in Sweden pubs can turn women away if they "look like a prostitute") etc.

You may want to consider what you are actually advocating. As Reem Alsalem says: 'Prostitution is neither sex nor work but a system of violence, exploitation and abuse of vulnerable women and children including girls enabled by the normalisation of male demand and purchase of sexual acts.' This needs to be the starting point of any political action on prostitution. Otherwise the government is just a pimp.

Latching on like a parasite sucking the life blood out of the host

Totally. The way gender ideology (and actually other extreme DEI ideology too) infects organisations and institutions has long reminded me of the way wasps lay their eggs in a caterpillar. The hatched baby wasps then eat the caterpillar alive from the inside until it just implodes. An everyday fact of nature that haunts my nightmares. 😂
It’s a great letter by some brave women and I hope it’s not too late for the GP to return to credibility. Many centrist people I know (who aren’t particularly aware of their batshittery re the GI/women’s rights conflict) would vote for them still believing they are what they are before the wasps came.

Utterly chilling. The parasitic wasps, eating the host caterpillar. So apt as a metaphor for this whole gender-identity catastrophe.

This is good article about the parasitic nature of the T: https://www.feliciarembrandt.com/p/the-parasitic-worm

Strong stuff. Quite stomach turning actually. But I'm afraid it's absolutely true.

Runor · 09/12/2024 09:11

Hmm, that all sounds quite QAnon doesn’t it?

Treaclewell · 09/12/2024 10:38

CA hasn't stated whether or not she had any association with sex 'work', beyond advocating for the men's parasitic behaviour, and the profit of pimps.

There is never any self reflection on their part, is there. Its always someone else's fault. Especially womens fault. They never, ever, ever see that they could maybe, maybe be at fault. They have a dogmatic, self-righteous way of thinking that allows for no reflection whatsoever. They are the ones destroying the Green Party within. As with a parasite, they destroy everything from within.

Did not enjoy reading that deeply unpleasant pro-trans Reddit thread. Mumsnet has its rowdy side, and some of the threads on mumsnet are entertainingly shouty, but the pro trans Reddit is so filled with hate against women, it's like being branded with a hot iron just reading it.

The weird thing is that it's men who have the big problem with TW and their sexually confusing gender bending ways. It's men who will absolutely not give TW any real validation or treat them as women in any way that counts. It's men who scare them.

But oh let's be angry at women because it's all, somehow, completely their fault.
