It starts with a bouquet of allegations about the Cass review which she doesn't bother to substantiate in detail, and moves on to a number of shroud-waving statements from parents (who were respondents to a sparsely-described online survey) about the decline in their kids since the review and associated policy changes. They look a little too neat and 'boilerplate' to me, but hey, what would I know . . .

I think everyone should view this person, who has demanded to be treated as if they are a female person and been successful in that demand, with suspicion if they are writing about transitioning children.

Kennedy is a male adult person advocating for children to receive drugs that have been proven to be life limiting and at times, life shortening in female patients. This cannot be pointed out often enough.

Always amazed by the fact he lists himself as a co-author on at least some of his research and that it's allowed to stand in academic journals. Surely that just calls into question the reputation of and the "research" within any such journal. If anybody else gave themselves another name and listed the two names as co-authors their research would be thrown out.

ahhhh but. If TWO people author a paper, surely that gives extra credibility?

Oh I agree completely which is why I don't understand why it's not fraud...oh sorry, forgot the special rules for special people.

When someone who claims to be two people gains more credit in academia, you know academia is dead.

Wasn't this male person also responsible for putting together a blacklist of 'unsafe' female academics who believe that sex is binary?

Couple of years ago I went undercover into an online group of trans activists and this person was a frequent poster. Believe me, the stuff they posted was horrendous, aggressive, woman-hatred. How can a person who holds such vile views be on the payroll of a university?

The last time I saw something about the LSE charmer who performed that thing about holding a knife to the throat of a TERF, charmer has gone on to some quite lucrative public appointments.

There really needs to be some challenge to both the HR departments at these universities and the reviewers & the editors of the academic journals publishing this guff. Why is it being allowed to taint the value of peer review? All (sane) academics should be up in arms, regardless of their field of study
