Green Party reinstates Shahrar Ali after bungling the expulsion

The latest Green party merry-go-round include someone discovering they should follow their own rule book and actually have some real examples of rule breaking.... AGAIN so they couldn't throw Shahrar out.

Shahrar Ali UPDATE:
https://x.com/ShahrarAli/status/1849866101297234222

Green Party had subjected me to further disciplinary crazy following batshit T-phobia complaints. This week they felt compelled to reverse every one of those sanctions after realising they were in rock & hard place territory. Either be forced to eat humble pie after high probability of a successful appeal from me showcasing litany of procedural failures by disciplinary committee & being armed with party's own SOC ruling against them. Or should they comply with ruling immediately & overturn those sanctions.

Party did latter but notified me in such a cackhanded, resentful way one can only imagine someone must have dragged them kicking & screaming. They continue to dig further hole for themselves through staggering incompetence & high end of unlawful discrimination. Of course they couldn't bring themselves to apologise to me for having their gross abuse of power called out & exposed. That would require a semblance of moral integrity, a concept alien among the authoritarian fanatics running amok among this once esteemed party of ours. Watch this space for ongoing revelations.

I will make it my business to hold these fanatics, & their faciliators & enablers (almost as reprehensible) to account. They are an actual danger to society.

Green Party fanatics suppress free speech as means to sustain their ideological delusions. They promulgate disinformation on internal message boards & resort to Orwellian propaganda in AGM reports. Members are wising up to subversion of our internal democracy by haters of truth.

This follows up on the revelation that the party has spent 1 million on legal fees mostly on trying to prove women are not real and major local rebellions within the party from people who actually think biology is a thing. See this thread:
https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5179157-fightback-nw-greens-recall-two-ta-council-reps

The party has a an AGM in two weeks and realist Greens with GreeensinExile are massing to trying to push back against the Genderist faction by demanding the party accept the Cass Review and account for the money wasted on legal fees. With more court cases coming [which are bound to go against the Greens] the gender wars inside the Greens are only getting stronger and the choice is between realists winning in the long run or letting the genderist biology deniers destroy the party through bankruptcy.

Honestly, it's abuse tactics now.

It's almost tempting to rejoin just to get a ringside seat.

WarriorN · 27/10/2024 09:40

Iirc they often do this to "problematic members" near a specific event such as conference, so that they cannot attend/ vote etc.

Well, re joining would potentially balance out the new member Willoughby. Though we may need a few to address that balance.

Did they readmit him after the conference do you know?

Who else thinks the gender fanatics would rather see the party bankrupt than surrender to reality? See also Rape Crisis, Universities, charities, etc, etc, etc.

I love this man, I wish I could vote for him. 😁👏

Money is tight and imagine you have a direct debit to fund the Green Party's weird obsession ? Bonkers

lcakethereforeIam · 27/10/2024 18:01

I've been thinking about my previous post. I think I'm seeing trans activists like a hostile occupying army. If they're forced into retreat they will salt the ground behind them rather than cede it to their enemies. Saying nothing to the damage they do to the culture of the places they occupy because they have no understanding of it beyond their own projections and their own wants.

Mumofteenandtween · 27/10/2024 18:19

The really stupid thing about this is that we are in the middle of a climate change crisis. This is the moment when the Green Party should be leading the way. We should all be turning to them as the experts.

And instead they keep distracting themselves with all this rubbish.

If the earth burns then it won’t matter how much lipstick Barry puts on - his skeleton will still be that of a man!

maltravers · 27/10/2024 18:48

Do we think they will suspend all their GC rebels before the next conference and readmit them after it’s finished? Save on legal fees AND make sure dissenting voices aren’t heard.

Well they can't expel them all there are too many that has always been the problem remember 25% + of Greens voted for Ali as leader when he stood for leader a few years ago. They just target "ringleaders" to scare others into submission. However as the recent regional revolts against TAs inside the Greens show they are facing more pushback.

See other threads for details:
https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5179157-fightback-nw-greens-recall-two-ta-council-reps

The TA agenda is basically to bankrupt the party it seems so it is pushing more and more people into the fight.

We will see what happens at conference. I suspect rather than mass expulsion before hand there will be attempts at rigging the agenda and other dirty tricks.

More than you might think: https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/media-centre/uk-political-parties-financial-accounts-published

But a million quid is still a lot for them to spaff on inept attempts to censor wrongthink.

Aside from the crap he's had to put up with which I'm not making light of, I love how Shahrah pulls no punches when he describes it all in his SM posts. You can just hear him having a proper rant!

Given the TRAs are not going to give up their takeover of the Green Party easily is there any point to it? Could it be turned around?

We don't know what will happen next. The pro-women faction taking over is NOT impossible, but it will be a hard fight. Even just locking the party into ongoing debate is a huge achievement as it undermines the TA project which is to take over EVERY PARTY in the UK and highlights how bigoted anti-women positions are. It undermines TAs politically everywhere else especially inside Labour.

What we do know is some TAs have just lost regional exec positions because of member revolts as discussed in the other thread. This is very significant - it may mark a major shift.
This builds on the fact the TAs have not been able to muster enough votes to get a majority of candidates in the Green Party Women exec. Instead they kept trying to ban the group or banish women as they are elected.

There is a great series of blog posts from Green Light illuminating the history of the crazy gender fight inside the greens from the darkest times of the Challenors onwards. Very interesting.

What I think is the most likely outcome is the Greens are going to be locked in civil war over this for years. Legal costs may force the situation into a sort of cold war where overt bigotry against gender realists become unsustainable so they will resort to other tactics. One possibility if it heads that way is Genderists may panic and flee the party if it becomes obvious it is full of Terfy dinosaur women and friends which they will have to work alongside. Remember that feeling got the Scottish Greens to break from the party.

Note of the Green coleaders while Carla Denyer is an ardent TA and Adrian Ramsay has said some things which make him at least neutral like respecting the Cass Review.

Respecting Freedom of Speech for biology knowers:

The danger for the TAs is while many members are not bothered about women or trans rights they are bothered about winning elections and saving the planet. If those members actually mobilise they are more likely to support the least toxic and reality based side which is the pro-women's side.

The reality is the battle is closely contested especially as it comes down to votes in internal elections which many members avoid. If for example another 1000 pro-women people join the Greens just to vote in internal elections it could have a significant impact.

Greens in Exile have a list of upcoming important dates in the fight.
https://greensinexile.org.uk/dates-for-your-diary

Keep watching folks or get involved. All I would say is that it makes sense for pro-women folks who can afford it to join a political party of some kind and fight from within. Whether Tories, Labour, Greens, Reform, SNP, Lib Dems or smaller parties they ALL need more people who care about women's rights.

The REDUXX leak of the proof that Khelif is male is going to have a useful impact on Shahrar if he takes the Greens to court again. He now has proof he was right.

Shahrar Ali

The Green Party of England and Wales imposed a "No-fault suspension" against me based on the alternate reality that Khelif is female. At highest level of their governance
TheGreenParty
have stated, "[T]here is no justification for presuming that she [IK] is male. No evidence.."

⚖️ Looks increasingly likely Green Party will have to defend their position in court while they continue to subject me to further detriment for stating that males, incl. Khelif, should not have been competing against females in boxing ring - for fairness & safety sake.

Not only does Green Party find expression of my views about keeping Khelif out of female boxing & IOC idiocy on safety intolerable but they claim they need to suspend me on "safe space" grounds (oh, the Orwellian irony). Observers will understand why I describe Green Party authoritarian fanaticism as at the most extreme end of political spectrum. A total subversion not just of party ethos but democratic principles of free speech. It must be exposed & expunged.

There's a lot to like about Shahrar and the way he speaks his mind. Not like a politician at all!

You make a fair point about joining political parties, @fromorbit . But bloody hell, I've only just left the Labour Party because... 😄
