Where were all the 'transchildren'?

For those not on Twitter/X - a brilliant summary by
Read some Piaget please!
@ prof_curiosity1:

A question transactivism cannot answer.

Where were all the 'transchildren' from 1920-2000 when Piaget, Kohlberg, Bandura, Vygotsky, Erikson, Bowlby, Steiner etc along with their students (and their vociferous critics) were spending tens of thousands of hours doing empirical research on children?

Research that involved studying children at home, in nursery and at school. Studies that involved writing down every action, statement, or question that the child asked. And then analysing these recordings for patterns and insights.

Not one of them observed a 'transchild' in all this time.

So where were all the 'transchildren'?

The logical answer is, of course, nowhere, as they were not yet required. They were not invented as a typology until the 2000s when the trans movement needed children to validate the sexual fetishes of autogynephiles and make transgenderism palatable for the public.

The other answer is a conspiracy theory. That research showing transchildren existed was suppressed; rather like alien conspiracy theorists talk about Area 51 in Nevada USA.

If we ignore the conspiracy theory, we are left with the answer that no child was trans until the 'transchild' was needed, in the 2000s, to demonstrate the universality of 'gender identity'.

Children, sadly, were the logical choice due to their undeveloped brains/thinking and their vulnerability. It is not hard to persuade children that Santa exists or even that sexual abuse is a normal part of family life. 'Gender identity' can easily be packaged to appeal to the magical thinking of children.

'Transchildren' have thus become the main focus of transgenderism. For the activists know that without the winsome, photogenic 'transchild', groomed to repeat adult phrases about 'gender identity' the movement consists in the main of adult males with a fetish for dressing up as women.

Transgender ideology needs 'transchildren' to survive. It needs them to harm themselves and kill themselves to demonstrate that the ideology is real.

We need to protect our children. And we can start by debunking the idea and existence of the 'transchild'.

And yes transsexualism and transvestitism did exist through history. What is extraordinary is how these historic identities have been erased by the modern blokes who wear dresses and call themselves transwomen. Where are the transvestites and transsexuals now?

And yes again...
Children experimenting with sex roles and pretending to be the opposite sex is well documented.

This was always historically regarded as a playful phase of experimentation and growing up. It was ignored just as children pretending to be dinosaurs, horses, airplanes etc

What is new is adults stepping into the playful pretences and pathologising them for their own gratification. And insisting that one particular iteration of pretend play is an adult 'gender identity'.

This is child abuse.

And another question that cannot be answered by transactivism.

Where are all the children pre 2000 who killed themselves because their 'gender identity' was not affirmed?

(As we are frequently told "better a live son than a dead daughter" in order to bully parents into allowing their children to be prescribed puberty blockers. Parents are terrified into allowing transition.)

So what happened before the advent of 'gender affirmative care'? According to the current transgender narrative, there would be thousands of children from 1920-2000s who had killed themselves because they were misgendered - and btw what a historic scandal that would have been. But there are no records of these deaths. Mass suicide by misgendered children is yet another transactivists fabrication unless, of course, you believe conspiracy theories and believe all these deaths of 'transchildren' were hidden.

There is no part of scaffolding that supports the 'transchild' fabrication that can stand up to the remotest scrutiny.

And if you are thinking what additional force apart from transgenderism is driving the transing of children, look at this link. Transing children and young people is a highly profitable business with revenue forecast to double by 2030. https://grandviewresearch.com/industry-analysis/us-sex-reassignment-surgery-market…

I went to a club with a girl in the 90s who flattened her boobs and wore boys clothes, when I first met her I just thought she was a boy until I learned her name.

She was a deeply unhappy child but lovely and funny when you got to know her.

When she became an adult she transitioned to be a boy. Hes now living a fulfilled life and I truly believe that very sadly she was genuinely born into the wrong body.

I believe there are a very very tiny number of people where this is the case and that there always has been.

I do not agree with gender ideologies, the prevelance of gender discussion in schools, etc etc and I don’t believe that all the children today who feel like they the ‘wrong’ sex are the same as the girl I knew as a child.

@DoIEver Not denying there are children that are struggling with cultural expectations of gender or trauma

Just feel that the solution to this is helping them overcome these issues, not labelling them as 'trans' and agreeing to pharmaceutical therapy or surgery that will harm them.

I agree that we shouldn't label children too. I think that they need exploratory therapy by a neutral party to help them unpick exactly how they feel and why without judgement.
Unfortunately, barely anyone is neutral about the subject so it's hard to know who could provide this to them.

Why not? What's the difference?

And in what way do you think someone can "be born in the wrong body?" How would you know?

bringbacktheladiesloos · 13/09/2024 21:58

Does anyone think this may all have something to do with the artificial hormones that have accumulated over the last 40 years in our drinking water?
The amounts of contraceptive pills that have been consumed since the 60's must be quite a few billion in England alone!

In fact, just done a fag packet calculation and if 10 million women take 365 pills each year - that's three billion, six hundred fifty million pills being wee'd into the water system each year.

Would it have an effect on developing children?

I think it's a feeling of distress about your sex. What do you think it is?

So it's a psychological condition? Why should this be treated with physical changes to the body?

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/09/2024 22:00

Why’s it always born in the wrong body rather than with the wrong brain?

I don't think people are born in the wrong body but I think some people are happier after modifying it. Lots of people make drastic changes to their body to be happier. Not just transpeople.
Do you think people who say that they are happier after transitioning are lying?

OldCrone · 13/09/2024 22:00

Why shouldn't psychological conditions be treated in anyway that works? If an operation could cure depression or anxiety would you be against that too?

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/09/2024 22:00

Apparently it's better to make the body 'match' the brain than unpick what's gone wrong in the brain to make it think that the body is wrong. No idea why.

hihelenhi · 13/09/2024 22:05

Some I do, yes. Such as Elliot Page. Who seems from observation to not be good state at all, and who "transitioned", according to her biography, after years of lesbophobia (family, Hollywood) and sexual harassment and assault.

Do you think people who say that "transitioning" (ie taking hormones and having surgery to make a simulacrum of the body of someone of the opposite sex) was a huge mistake and didn't solve the problems they believed it would are lying?

Well apparently that does affect sperm count.

It doesn't explain the huge surge in girls with gender dysphoria.

Yeah I do now that I just googled it and found this 12 year old article.

The concentrations will have increased further in this last 12 years and we all know that water companies couldn't give a flying fig about cleaning up the water supply.

If it can happen to fish . . .

OldCrone · 13/09/2024 22:06

I think for girls the phenomena is a social contagion. I know at least 3 girls now that became boys for a few years then realised they were girls after all when they were 17/18. A bit of a phase

Perhaps for boys it's the artificial oestrogen messing with their hormones?

I don't think I'm qualified to say what people with psychological issues should or shouldn't do with their bodies.

I agree that intensive therapy should absolutely be the first port of call for anyone suffering with gender dysphoria. But ultimately, if that therapy doesn't give them relief from their symptoms I think people should be able to seek surgical interventions.

You have no idea how Elliot Page feels. That's pure speculation on your your part.

Someone I have known since childhood has transitioned and I know that they are happier for it.

I also know that some people transition and regret it

Both things can be true.

Anorexia has the highest death rate of any mental illness. If there was a surgical intervention for it that helped some people then I'd support it. Wouldn't you?

No, I think the issue is with the obsession with gender.

Look on here the amount of women that want a girl and have serious anxiety about getting pregnant and possibly having a boy. Their justification being they want to clothes shop, do nails, dress them up as a princess, etc. No thought to the child being an individual.

I grew up in the 1980/90/00s to quite traditional parents. My mixed sex siblings all had the same toys, we mostly had the same clothes. There was no gender expectation, we just played with whatever and liked what we liked, dressed how we liked as we got older.

It’s always those who enjoy and try and enforce the gender norms that get so upset when people rebel.

I don’t think people can change sex, but if I grew up with someone being disappointed in me for not liking pink, wanting to work in science, being obsessed with trains, loving and playing sports that are traditionally male - then I would possibly question my sex and wonder if I was born in the wrong body.

The Daily Mail is the perfect example. They sexualise women’s bodies, berate clever women who don’t conform to their female beauty standards, decry men who show any sensitive side and challenge their beliefs. Then act outraged that this indoctrination of gender stereotypes has resulted in people not feeling comfortable in their choices if they are the ‘wrong sex’ for what they deem acceptable.

You'd support dangerously already underweight girls being given liposuction because they believe they are grossly overweight?

No, I fucking wouldn't. Nobody with an ounce of ethics would.

I would ensure they have psychological treatment, which is what we are suggesting. Not "affirming" their irrational thoughts that they're fat and giving them surgery to make thinner.

I'm surprised that anyone thinks giving surgery and hormones to young women that sterilises them and gives them early onset osteoporosis in their 20s because they don't think they can actually be the sex they are is "healthcare".

Ifoughthefight · 13/09/2024 22:24

These are all things driven by the money makers and the people who want to make underage or rather say: sex with underage kids legal and then the big pharma wants to sell their drugs ( hence they are always unhappy and mentally ill and want to commit suicide according to whose theory or fake research). Call us conspiracy theorists if you wish. These pedos exist somewhere and these financial sharks exist also.

I actually remember a story about a severely anorexic woman who wanted one but no doctor would give her one. She campaigned for it but failed and died in agony.
