Have just seen that Sarah Owens is now listed on the Committee web page and that my MP supports her.
And as the closing date is monday it really does seem that Labour, despite weasel words, have no intention in practice of supporting women's sex based rights.
Because this Committee above all others is where women should be able to turn to to get their voices heard.
On one level if it wasn't so preditictable, it would be embarrassing that Labour can be so overtly partisan.
I presume in instances like this, it is the same as having a three line whip.
If we ever had any hope that Labour could act with equality towards women's rights, this shows that they cant and dont want to.
