To be perfectly honest, nothing around the topic of identities, sex and kinks surprises me at all now.
I've read two webcomics with hermaphrodite characters - one is manga/anime like comedic and features an androgynous angel with both sets of genitals. Credit where credit is due, I do think Brianna is being a lot more honest than most on the subject. Brianna's Triggernometry interview was also very open and honest. If trans "rights" activism was as open as Brianna is now, then I think trans as a subject where it clashes with women's rights would be a lot more sensible and less fraught and agressive.

These examinations, as long as they are carried out by health professionals of the same sex as the examinee and with a chaperone could uncover abuse or illness.
