Pinknews have lost Reddit. Biggest UK politics sub and look at the comments lots of people pointing out not just the dodgy nature of the bosses, but questioning the entire agenda of Pricknews.

That sentence is badly constructed. It reads as though the second part of that sentence qualifies as misogyny. They can’t exactly ask young male members of staff. Odd two phrases to put together.

Edit to say: I am not implying that it was right to do, just that it is not not a good example of misogyny

It's misogyny to ask the women who depend upon you for wages to bear your children, as they will fear being fired if they say no. It's weaponising their female bodies to cause fear. Rapists also weaponise women's bodies to cause fear through the forced risk of pregnancy, and we have no difficulty recognising rape as misogynist.
