A young man called Cameron Allan has been found guilty of raping and murdering a man:

There has been some suggesting that this is the same man who held the "Decapitate Terfs" sign at a demo in Scotland.

The photo used in the Sky News story doesn't look like him, but it seems not to be a recent photo. This tweet shows the pic used in another story about him (when he invited a hotel worker to take part in a porn movie), and puts it side by side with the Decapitate Terfs guy:

So at the time he was carrying signs in public threatening to decapitate women, he was on bail for murder? Is that right?

I honestly don’t think they’re the same person. The hair is differently parted, the sign-holder has less-fine facial features including a squarer chin. Are you all entirely sure?

Are you basing this assumption entirely on those two specific photos or is there other evidence/proof?

I hope I’m proved wrong and not just because I was stood about 3 people away from the sign-holder at that rally.

I dont think so.

It is harder to make a decision based on just 2 photos, but when you see more photos of him at different ages, it becomes clearer and more convincing.

There is more evidence around twitter which is pointing in the same direction.

There was evidence given to the police of who the sign holder was, but they just couldn't find him 🤷‍♀️

I've just been trying to work out the timeline too MrsO.

The rally with the decapitate terf sign took place on 21st Jan 2023. The horrific rape and murder was committed in Nov 2021. The first report of any murder charges I can find is in May 2023 when the two accused appeared in court with trial scheduled for June 2024. Brisker was remanded and Allan was bailed. I'm not familiar with Scottish criminal legal procedure so I don't know how quickly this particular court hearing would have followed a charge but I guess it's in the region of a few days.

In the preceding months in the spring of 2023 the police were reported as saying that they had investigated complaints about the sign and 'enquiries were closed'. This seems deliberately vague and was presumably to avoid any prejudice of the ongoing murder case in which charges were imminent.

So as far as I can tell in Jan 2023 he hadn't yet been charged with murder and rape but it seems likely he was under investigation in a case that had been ongoing for over a year.

Create a movement that empowers sex offenders and they will flock to it and co-opt it. Trouble is the organisations who enable these criminals don't seem to realise they are now the equivalent of the Catholic bishop circa 1975 who doesn't look too hard at what Father Michael gets up to at the orphanage because they'd rather not confront an awkward truth. They can't have failed to see how many of this small sub-set of men have turned out to be violent or sexual criminals.

There really needs to be some kind of official accountability for political parties, public bodies and companies who allow themselves to be used to further the agenda of sex offenders and fraudsters.

The self-pity and lack of remorse is off the scale. Brister called himself 'a young boy who likes to have fun' - he's 27.

Allen said he had 'bad sex thoughts' which he blamed on his mum dying in a car accident.

Two days later on 21 January 2023 at a S35 protest in Glasgow, Kakaub Stewart MSP (now Equalities Minister) and Kirsten Oswald MP appear in front of a protestor holding Decapitate Terfs sign. Cameron Allan named by many as the protestor. No confirmation.

28 May 2023 At Glasgow High Court Cameron Allan and Dylan Brister are charged with rape and murder, trial set for June 2024 as reported in the Sun
