So is that a total of six women now?

No, so far I think there are Scarlett & K then the later two reports (Caroline & Julia) from the Tortoise reports, and then there's another woman called Claire who gave her story on a separate podcast. So five who've spoken to podcasters. I'm pretty sure there'll be more. He seems quite a fan of the NDA and given there was 20 years between Scarlett and K, it's highly likely he'll have practiced his "methods" quite a few times. Lots of lower level icky behaviour being reported by ex-fans on Reddit too, at book signings etc.

I hope this never goes quiet. I hope it's the first thing that people think of when they read his obituary. And for years after his death if his name is mentioned. Like Jimmy Saville.

Villagetoraiseachild · 22/08/2024 07:35

Whatever you do echoes through eternity.
And the Keepers of the Story have the memories of elephants.
All hail to the woman who disregarded the tawdry NDA, there may yet be others.

The autism ‘excuse’ has upset a lot of people on X (once you wade through the bot posts) and Reddit. As it should.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/08/2024 10:09

I can imagine.

hihelenhi · 22/08/2024 10:47

Yes the autism is an appalling excuse.

That's not his only one, according to a new post on that Reddit thread. A young woman staying at his house where he claimed "sleepwalking" (I think that's what she was saying - ah, no, sort of. Ambien, a sleep drug that might make him 'wander' he said) and that night she woke to find him in her room with implication he was groping her.

VictorianBigot · 22/08/2024 13:11

Ah, 'sexsomnia'. Classic. Funny how it never occurs to these so-called sexsomniacs to lock their door/sleep in a separate bed/warn other people/see a GP. And isn't it funny how heterosexual male 'sexsomniacs' always, somehow, manage to end up sexually assaulting and raping women rather than their male guests? The brain is fascinating.

It's incredible isn't it? I wonder what the prevalence of this is between males and females

I did a search and apparently it's 3x more likely in men. Of course it is! Lying bastards.

How many excuses does an innocent man need? Methinks the abuser doth protest too much.

VictorianBigot · 22/08/2024 16:21

What will be next? He tripped and fell?

Someone spiked his cocoa with Viagra and he couldn't help himself.

ArabellaScott · 22/08/2024 16:44

He has a trauma history.

CobwebCorner · 22/08/2024 16:56

His mummy didn't love him.

Chersfrozenface · 22/08/2024 16:58

His goldfish died.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 22/08/2024 17:01

He's depressed by the state of the world.

CobwebCorner · 22/08/2024 17:02

Some big boys did it and ran away. You wouldn't know them, they go to a different school.

StainlessSteelMouse · 22/08/2024 18:53

Xenu made him do it.

(Of course that would necessitate him spending $$$ on high level auditing)

IBelieveInFerries · 22/08/2024 19:56

Amanda made him do it. It Ilis always the woman's fault.

notathenabutcassandra · 23/08/2024 00:14

How?

Poettree · 23/08/2024 05:41

He's a deeply feeling highly creative person with a goatee. All is allowed.

Villagetoraiseachild · 23/08/2024 09:00

He's been possessed by the spirit of a lecherous lord from the sixteenth century.
