By challenging the Leader of the Opposition, particularly as he is not a rampant TRA, it would leave Kellie open to accusations of attacking the Labour party, not the TRA ideology, making it easier to dismiss her and what she stands for.
After all, Rishi Sunak at one point found himself unable to define a woman. Why not challenge him and get the same discussion? Why not challenge the Leader of the Liberal Democrats?
Given that she can only stand in one constituency, I think it would have been entirely reasonable to choose the one held by the MP who's widely expected to be the next Prime MInister, especially given his publicised plans for reforming the GRA and banning conversion therapy.
As for not attacking the Labour Party, well I don't really understand why not. I think they deserve to be attacked for their stance, and I say that as someone who's still trying to keep an open mind about voting for them, at least until I've read their manifesto.
As I say, LRM is insignificant. I doubt whether anyone who doesn't follow this issue or live in his constituency has even heard of him. I think it's a waste.
I admire KJK and think she's much braver than I am and I have no intention of spending the next 6 weeks carping from the side lines. But when I heard the news, I felt a bit deflated.
