Is it not because without the special declarations an ordinary person might see a female actor playing a female part and inadvertently commit a thought hate crime by knowing said actor is female?

I volunteer at a theatre and this is depressingly familiar....

I don't think I've seen a show at all in the last few years that didn't have cast members pronouns in the programme. Even though 99% of them were exactly what you'd expect them to be.

And, if I were discussing the cast they wouldn't even know. So why would it matter if I were to misgender one of them. Ffs.

He was obviously asked what his pronouns are and he answered honestly, like the others have (most of them).
It’s the person designing the poster who has decided to include them on it.
