Which woman is the anti-beetroot one? I am against beetroot being treated as fit for human consumption, so I'll back her to the hilt, whoever she is!

I'm on the fence regarding beetroot. Can someone summarise, I'm sick of the splinters in my bum and it'd be great to make a decision.

I like beetroot but always feel a bit gross after eating it. There's the red stains too.

But I quite like crisps. Though I could control myself if JB was nearby on a train.

Mini chilli beetroot is the best! Especially in a sandwich.

I had no idea there was a beetroot war going on. I absolutely love beetroot, especially pickled. Crispy chicken wings with a pile of beetroot on the side is one of my favourite things.

Nobody could convince me to eat something that looks like a slightly muddy dead rat.

I love beetroot straight out of the pan after cooking. It's rather delicious whilst still warm!

Just have to remember days later that you ate beetroot in vast quanties or you'll think you are dying when you see the colour of your pee!

Eh? Beetroot doesn't look anything like a dead rat 😂

A few years ago I was rummaging about on the Thames foreshore and saw a crow with what looked like a small loaf of white bread. Went over to see what it was and it was a long-dead hairless rat. It looked vile but the worst thing was that the crow deferred to me by hopping away from it.

I can see how a still covered in soil version could be mistaken for a dead rat
