Today's YouGov Daily Chat is about 'gender-exclusive spaces'

I've got to question 2 and I already can't answer properly as it pre-supposes that you believe in gender!

Maybe a few of us could leave comments clarifying our thoughts!

Oh, quite a few already did, believe me 😁 lots and lots of 'sex. You mean SEX' and 'women's spaces are open to any bloke in a frock'.

Quite heartening.

Agreed what a mess these questions! And the usual false equivalence of exclusive men only clubs and women only spaces necessary for safety and dignity!

Yeah they can fuck off with the term "exclusive"!

If men had managed to lay off the structural and physical opression for the entirety of the history of humanity these spaces wouldn't be needed so much.

It's not exclusivity. It's basic safety and fairness and even then only a step towards that.

I was heartened to see so many commentators saying what is gender, do you mean sex.

But now I am wondering does this mean more public awareness, or more FWRers have posted because of this thread?

But seriously YouGov is just so sloppy now in its survey structure.

How they are taken seriously as a source of information I dont know.

I'm intrigued by the commenter who claims to be able to camouflage themselves as both main genders.

I can't seem to leave or read any comments either. And if I go to "home" I can't find the chat again without resorting to the back button 🤷‍♀️
It's infuriated me so am giving up.

I saw this today too - got frustrated with the questions being on ‘gender so left a note saying that bio sex Bs gender were two very different things.

When you have answered all the stupid questions it isn't very clear but it says something like tell us why you think this ... *

And just below that is an open comment box with the words "type a message" but if you hit the enter key it thinks you want to "skip" commenting (on the right of the empty box) so then you will have to answer all the questions again to get to the empty box!!

Once you have added a "message" you are then offered an option to see what others have said.
