What we really want is for Ash Regan to support him in the vote, having got him to agree to all her conditions regarding women's and children's safety (and others). She can then hold him hostage to it for as long as she wants. He will always have the sword of Damocles hanging over his head.

No. We want the SNP gone. She doesn’t get to change her mind next week. That moment will be passed. The SNP are captured by two harmful ideologies (gender and independence) and Ash by one (independence). We need a government in Scotland who is captured by neither and can properly run the country and address issues that matter.

It's going to be Labour, though, if the SNP fall. You can argue whether they will be more competent in government (hard to believe they could be worse), but they are just as captured, and they supported the gender reform bill.

well its not all bad news. This surely must mean the end of the "careers" of Harvey, Slater and person person. The Scottish Greens are facing a revolt from LGBT members of the party furious at the NHS’s decision to pause the prescription of puberty blockers for new patients.

How clear it is then that the LGB (?) and T members of the Scottish Green party are willing, loud and clear, to have pubescent children used as Guinea pigs and very possibly cause significant harm to those children both from the puberty blockers and the pathway they initiate.

The clue is in the name ‘puberty’ blockers. They can only be for children.

I have a theory that the reason The Greens have embraced gender woo and puberty blockers is because it's an (admittedly crazy) way of reducing the population and therefore helps the environment.
I can't think of any other reason they'd go for something so obviously insane.

Free vasectomies would have the same effect without the pollution from making drugs and their packaging.

Sitting here on a Friday night, having a wee think about the seismic changes in Scottish politics which have happened over the last week (clearly my days of drinking and clubbing of a Friday night are long gone 😆), I thought I would re-read the two Under the Duvet of Darkness books.
