The greens will probably get another selection of seats due to campaigning in the environment and idiots believing that is what they care for. And the way the list works that could be Harvie again. He won’t have his name on the ballot and they don’t need him anywhere near the campaign in order to do so.

Is it just me who finds it absolutely delicious that Humza's fate now lies in the hands of Ash Regan? All this time the SNP leadership thought they could get away with forcing gender ID on women, and pretending it wasn't an issue ordinary people cared about - and here it is, exploding in their faces. Solid gold karma.

If Humza quits presumably the Greens would be prepared to vote for his replacement as FM if that replacement supports their agenda. Is there a danger that Scotland could wind up with another tra?

There is no 'no confidence' vote on anyone but Humza.

So no voting involved.

I love how Ash Regan remains dignified, measured and well 'a grown up' finding herself in this position. She is a real politician.

How would a new FM be selected if Humza goes? Would the SNP have to pick a new head honcho? Although the SNP would still be the largest party it's not necessarily one of them who would be FM?

If he goes quickly before the no confidence vote SNP can install a caretaker I presume? The no confidence vote relates only to Yousaf currently. Will have to be done ASAP though.

I must be soft in the head because I do too. Maybe 'be kind' is still dragging at me. I don't think that's bad, compassion is not necessarily wrong. I still believe he needs to go, he's made his own bed. Perhaps what I feel is regret, I don't think he's a bad man. I wish he hadn't made, in my eye, bad choices, caused so much damage, wasted so many opportunities to do better. Ah well, it is what it is, feck him!

I have written to Humza Yousaf this morning requesting a reset, and a return to competent government, where we prioritise independence and protect the dignity, safety and rights of women and children. I remain open to any discussion where we progress the priorities of the people of Scotland.
