So Ash has got Humza by the pom poms.
Is there enough popcorn in the world for this?

Waitwhat23 · 26/04/2024 06:52

And didn't he say that Ash leaving the SNP was 'no great loss'?

I bet he regrets that now!

BBC News at 10 reporting that, according to sources, one of Ash Regan’s key demands will be a guarantee that the recommendations in the Cass Report will be implemented in full.

Politics like this is great when it kicks gender ideology to the curb

"Their reaction to the ban on puberty blockers was far more vociferous than the scrapping of environmental targets, which tells you all you need to know about them.”

ForWomenScotland

Quite.

WarriorNonVerbalHateCrime · 26/04/2024 07:08

If Isla Bryson helped bring down Nicola Sturgeon, will it be Hilary Cass that does for Humza?

And, at this point, will saner politicians realise that appeasing the genderborg is a bad idea?

Also ForWomenScotland

Potentially big cross party and country implications

WarriorNonVerbalHateCrime · 26/04/2024 07:09

I wonder if this is why the general election is delayed? Allow the fall out to play out?

I’d say they’d be getting there with understanding the political harm

People get taken out of power in a career ender

And if it’s one thing politicians try to protect it’s their career

ArabellaScott · 26/04/2024 07:15

One would hope politicians everywhere will be watching and noting. Scotland has been determined to power ahead with support for gender extremism.

The GE needs to be held before 28th January 2025, so lots of scope for more fall out Grin

Many appear have courted the gender Borg in an effort to further their careers.

Hopefully the ferret thread will gain more soon

The GE isn’t delayed. There is no reason for the Tories to shorten their stay in government by holding one now so why would they?

Autumn latest, surely, before everyone goes into hibernation and cba.
It's going to be a fascinating summer.

SaffronSpice · 26/04/2024 07:30

I see there is now a suggestion Humza will resign before the vote and be replaced with another sturgeonite follower of gender ideology.

That would be digging themselves in even further which will only prolong the agony - but could be fun to watch.

Solgrass · 26/04/2024 07:37

If he wants to leave with any dignity he should. His wife is having another child, so suspect he will frame it around wanting to spend more time with family, if he resigns

Whichever gray nonentity takes over, it may be a very short career.

It does also take away any power from Ash. If the SNP elite think Humza’s days are numbered regardless then they wouldn’t want to get themselves tied to one set of demands after having so recently discarded the Greens.

WarriorNonVerbalHateCrime · 26/04/2024 08:05

Carla Denyer on this evenings any questions radio 4.

AuntieAntik · 26/04/2024 08:06

I know this is a serious issue with big repercussions, but bloody hell I'm enjoying it!

borntobequiet · 26/04/2024 08:19

That’s a very funny sketch in the Mail.

mrshoho · 26/04/2024 08:25

It is definitely satisfying watching the unravelling. SNP need a fresh new leader and my advice would be for someone who has kept away from the koolaid. Make the most of this war with the rainbow greens and quietly move away from the crazy gender ideology.

My hope is that Scottish Greens lose at least 4 seats at the next election.

Rainbowshit · 26/04/2024 08:27

Wings saying he's resigning over fears that not all of the SNP would support him in a vonc. 🤭

Wonder what the Kate Forbes story fir not running for FM is that he can't tell?
