A good time for a thread to note all the companies, charities and celebrities that jumped onto the Trans bandwagon without any care for the children being harmed [title edited]

So we (and they) don't forget and to assist any journalists who are working on stories. I'll get the ball rolling:

Now the CASS report is out it may be time to revisit the part the Dentons' advice played in all of this - does anyone have a copy? | Mumsnet

Anyone mentioned Aida H Dee the story time drag queen?

I have felt particularly betrayed by Oxfam and The Guardian, both of which have already been mentioned. Oxfam because of its excruciating Terf cartoon https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/oxfam-is-the-problem-not-women-who-support-it-6gj930p0x and The Guardian for just never covering the issues and pushing out Hadley Freeman and Suzanne Moore. It was my paper for nearly 40 years and I feel like a complete idiot for blindly using it for 'news' and being utterly misled about what was happening to women's and children's rights.

Oxfam is the problem, not women who support it

Oxfam has a woman problem. The grotesque cartoon of JK Rowling as an evil, hag-like Terf (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) is just the latest insult, and no

OP I wonder if MN could amend the thread title to include charities? There are more than this post but this announcement before the Keira Bell hearing and evidence, was one of the most egregious acts of recent years.

NSPCC's rubberwankman deserves its own post, along with Childline.

This is exactly where my first thoughts went. I worked for one of those organisations at that time. I was absolutely disgusted at that joint statement which was then proudly shared internally. It was all about appeasing the internal identity-obsessed, alphabet-based staff network, not a single thought for Kiera, who was exactly the kind of young person they should have been supporting.

Robin Ince, John Oliver, Stewart Lee. Privileged twats from the same condescending mould as James O Brien.

Jon Stewart can also get in the sea.

Ludicrously enough, the knitting site Ravelry.

Wracking my brains to think who ISN'T on there. Wetherspoons? That's about it!
I think Bannatynes Gyms (sp) resisted unisex changing rooms didn’t they? I may have got that wrong. Also lovely Tunnocks stayed lovely.

Mycatsmudge · 13/04/2024 11:40

Society hasn’t lost its mind. It is a politically motivated minority who have grabbed influence in the name of ‘tolerance ’. The fault lies with totally unqualified politicians, who upheld this nonsense allowing it to infect all our institutions including the civil service and NHS and virtual signalling celebrities eg Stacey Dooley, businesses eg Disney and organisations eg The Royal Academy who endorsed it. The vast majority of the population have always known it is impossible to change biological sex.

So many U.K. Universities it's depressing

Universities pay for trans kits, such as breast binding kits, when it's known to cause health issues rather than counselling as they feared being labelled "conversion" therapy.

Freda69 · 13/04/2024 12:50

Etsy for selling ‘chest binders’!!

valensiwalensi · 13/04/2024 12:52

Sorry, what are we actually pinpointing here? Were all these people listed publically encouraging children to transition?

Yes. There are one or two on the list I wasn't aware of, but I will investigate further. The rest? Yes, absolutely.

valensiwalensi · 13/04/2024 13:13

I would love to see the evidence that channel 5 milkshake for toddlers told them to get gender affirming therapy
