KjK "insane rant" thread 2

First thread filled up just as it was getting interesting

https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5036512-kjks-insane-rant

So let's keep it going. My characterisation if the two basic positions are:

1)KJK is a stone cold legend, haters gonna hate but many women will give her cash to bathe in champagne

  1. KJK is taking right wing positions for clicks and cash, most recently criticising a doctors conference to stay relevant.

Happy to discuss further. There are some particular posts I want to respond to which I will c&p below

KJK’s insane rant | Mumsnet

Kjk’s decision to attack everyone who is not her lapdog is increasingly destructive. It looks like Can-sg put on a great conference. Those doctors who...

What's wrong with agreeing with some things that are right wing?

Nothing! It's the gaslighty effect of agreeing with them, then denying you did, then denying they are right wing.

Basically reminds me of this:
That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

I'm pretty sure KJK wouldn't deny she's a conservative (small c).

What is your precise issue with CPAC? Which of their aims and objectives concerns you and why?

Interesting screenshot. Doesn't say much about who they are.

https://www.cpac.network/ (Australia version)

"CPAC is a values based nonprofit organisation that espouses the best of Howard, Reagan and Thatcher while exploring new ideas and themes for the coming generations. Help us spread the message."

https://www.cpac.org/us/home (US version)

"Welcome to CPAC where we are PROTECTING AMERICA NOW!Home to the largest and most influential gathering of conservatives in the world."

CPAC conference is also where Truss talked about the "Deep State" and did the interview with Steve Bannon where he called Tommy Robinson a hero (Truss said nothing)

I'm quite interested what the return on investment is for them in "sponsoring" KJK tour. They are a political organisation so I assume something political. But of course its misinformation to suggest KJK is right wing so its confusing

Oh. I thought I read a post saying she couldn't be involved with the far right because she was a labour voter.

She is very intriguing isn't she? Campaigns on women's rights, but not a feminist. Shares a lot of common interests with the far right but not far right. Takes money from whoever but financially rigorous. A bit of a chameleon really.

Oh my God what you say is ridiculous.

A minute ago you were telling women they were mad to give her money, because she spends it on herself. Now somebody else wants to give her all the money for a trip and she's wrong about that too.

I can't believe the power she has over you!

No wonder she's so good at what she does.

As you're so curious, it's probably best you contact both KJK and CPAC to ask them directly (assuming the YT video doesn't say anything - I've not watched it as I'm on a train with no headphones).

You seem to be implying there's something untoward going on, however. What do you think this could be?

Oh. I thought I read a post saying she couldn't be involved with the far right because she was a labour voter.

I said it and I stand by it. Being an ex-Labour party member is just one of MANY reasons that proves to me she isn’t far right. I mean she simply isn’t 🤷‍♀️

Accusations of being of the far right is a very tedious way to shut down discussion and debate these days. The definition of far right has widened so massively I’m no longer sure how to define it.

I mean being anti-porn is far right according to this person. It’s a silly example but perfectly illustrates how carelessly the term is thrown around IMO.

Goodness knows what the truth is but certainly not as black and white as KJK makes out. That poor poor child.

Father of missing schoolgirl claims Jeremy Kyle ‘ruined’ his life

Bob Downes, 57, from Blackpool, whose 14-year-old daughter disappeared, feels he was persuaded to appear on the show under the 'pretence' of raising awareness for the missing teenager.

Why does leaning conservative in some aspects = "far right" to you?
That's quite the leap.
You asked me questions about what is/isn't far right on page 2, but then never took my response any further.

So what do you consider "far right"?

Because it seems as though anything even slightly right of your personal politics is "far right" to you, and that "conservative" doesn't even exist in your world view - There is only "left wing" and "far right".

I'd be insanely curious to see everyone's political compass tests tbqh.

If we must be going so extreme to be using the specific term "far right" for absolutely everything just because some dude who was far right said the same or a similar thing once, is it "far right" to love dogs and enjoy/create art??
Is it far right to be vegetarian?
Plenty of scientists were Nazis back in the day, or if not literal Nazis then plenty believed in eugenics - Is science far right?
NASA was practically built off of Nazi rocket scientists contributions. Is NASA Far right?
Are half of the entire UK population who voted for Brexit "far right"?

Things are nuanced.

Are you cross with KJK, or other peoples perception of her?

You are throwing a wild accusation about her, and someone else is saying that isnt true. KJK isnt part of the conversation.

Do you want KJK to change (how you imagine) she thinks, or how others think of her? Or do you want kjk to stop talking about womens rights?

I'm not sure what you want to achieve from these sort of threads. There have been many, and so far not achieved a great deal.

The CPS' prosecutors alleged she'd been cut up in Court. Maybe you'd also like to tell them that their allegation is wrong, as that's where KJK got it from (the MSM reporting of the trial).

Or is it just KJK who's wrong, no matter the source of her comment?

Keeprejoining · 04/04/2024 14:29

I'm glad I've read most of this thread, it's reminded me to join the party of women. KJK needs all the backing she can get. And I don't think the far right and Christians are putting their hands in their pockets

lots of people’s views shift over time. It’s normal to reassess your positions based on new information.

illinivich · 04/04/2024 14:31

The problem with the woke/progressives is that they want to be more progressive than the average person, yet are mad as hell when the average person think they are too woke/progressive.

Calling KJK far right is the mumsnet equivalent of reddit calling JKR a holocaust denier. Its sounds convincing if you really want to believe it, but its based on conspiracy theories.

TBF I t believe they cause new ripples of funding for KJK - maybe Adam & Chums are a KJK controlled psy op designed to convert more people to telling men to fuck off out of the women’s bogs and pay for KJK’s future holidays?

illinivich · 04/04/2024 14:37

ha! That might be true, KellieJaysLapdog I was temped to buy 'female' merch just to increase the bloodpressure of the 'reasonable left/just asking questions' types who.are busy tracking her profit margins.

is a global cabal of Satan-worshipping, child sex trafficking elites who control governments, financial institutions, and the media

I’ve not been keeping up. So has all that Jeffrey Epstein/Epstein Island stuff been disproved then? (No Satan worshipping but pretty much the rest).

pickledandpuzzled · 04/04/2024 14:53

The thing is, (damn here I am again)…

Regardless of her funding, the merch, the people who agree with her-

What she is pushing is one, very simple thing. Woman- adult human female. Men need not apply and aren’t welcome. Hands off our kids.

She’s not a feminist because the feminists have redefined feminism apparently to mean something that’s not her.

She’s not pushing women get back in the kitchen. If her funders are, then they must be holding their noses when they deal with an extremely visible, extremely out of the kitchen woman.

She’s not pushing pink is for girls and boys should do science.

She’s not pushing straight marriage is the only real marriage.

She’s not pushing pro life or any other agenda.

She’s pushing standing up for women against the shit that’s going down right now.

There’s fuck all right wing about that.

Maybe she dreams of a world where all women are Marilyn Monroe esque and all men are <insert handsome straight bloke of your choice> . Only she and God know, because that’s not what she’s promoting.
