The only response someone who's not a parent or medic to a 12 year old thinking they might be the opposite sex should be reassurance. 12 years olds are only 1 year out of primary school fgs.

What I find sickening is your continued deflection from the actual point that was being made which is that 99% of sexual crimes are committed by men and that being a trans woman doesn't make you any less likely to commit this kind of crime than any other man.

@ForCoralFox did you do your safeguarding training at Mermaids ? I have worked in safeguarding for nearly 16 /17 years. Anyone who has knows that 'family friends' can be dodgy too. My parents had a family "friend" who used to make comments about my wee developing breasts and arse when I was around that girl's age. Never in front of my parents, of course.
