Women don't tend to do these things solo, is the point
No, but they're still capable of heinous crimes.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 07/03/2024 17:44

No one said they weren't. It's just much much rarer.

I'm actually finding this conversation distressing. It must be horrible to see the world in this way. I'm off.

You'll be back, your flounces never last long.

I'd have a read of the MOJ statistics and the WPath files while you gone. You may need some smelling salts when you see what you are advocating for. Or probably not, because you're all about the men's rights.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 07/03/2024 17:47

The only response someone who's not a parent or medic to a 12 year old thinking they might be the opposite sex should be reassurance. 12 years olds are only 1 year out of primary school fgs.

"You're 12. You're growing and developing and it's natural to be confused. You're going through a lot of change at the moment and you'll change your mind a lot over the next years. Take your time, talk to your Mum and Dad and if you think it's a good idea, they'll help you find someone to talk to"

Adults self invested in changing sex should be nowhere near confused 12 year old girls - that's why they're a safeguarding risk and why this is a dangerous piece of social grooming of children.

What a load of nonsense. I'm not excusing anyone of crimes
No, if someone is saying Myra Hindley was just an accomplice to male crime, that is excusing her - poor love didn't know what she was doing, women are always victims regardless.
It's sickening

I don't know. I think defending an abusive male person while denigrating the woman they have abused is pretty sickening actually. Don't you?

Helleofabore · 07/03/2024 17:49

crunchermuncher · 07/03/2024 17:30

Nobody is being prevented from accessing healthcare.

Do you mean being suggested that they wait until they're an adult before taking drugs that will sterilise therm and raise their risk of cancer and osteoporosis?

You spout such utter claptrap.

Edited

Let's wait to see.... some evidence that supports this poster's claims may yet be forthcoming.

If you're referring to Ian Brady, no way am I defending him and never, ever would.
He's an absolute sick fuck as well.

Helleofabore · 07/03/2024 17:51

Helleofabore · 07/03/2024 17:36

No need.

Please post the evidence that the current health treatments offered to under 18 year olds is improving their lives.

if you cannot find that evidence to support your claim that the current health care treatments improve a person under 18's life, perhaps you should stop discussing medical treatments for those under 18.

Now, how about you provide evidence that in the long term the current treatment of surgeries dramatically improves the lives of adult patients?

Sorry, that is no need to be a doctor. You can just provide the original source evidence that convinced you.

nope. I am talking about India Willoughby. Want to defend that abusive male person?

I'm actually finding this conversation distressing. It must be horrible to see the world in this way. I'm off.

Asking you to support your claims with evidence and asking you to stop spreading misinformation tends to have that effect.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 07/03/2024 17:55

<checks I'm on right thread>
Yep, I am, it's the Hollyoaks one, (nothing to do with India) and you were replying to a comment about Myra Hindley - how has India suddenly entered the thread?!

Helleofabore · 07/03/2024 17:58

ForCoralFox · 07/03/2024 17:31

I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to comment on specific protocols or care pathways.

Fuck this is concerning.

A poster comes onto a thread, gives what seems to be an unevidenced opinion about medical treatments and when asked to support that opinion declares they are not a doctor and refuses.

And this poster believes that they are righteous?

I would suggest that they are uninformed and merely regurgitating arguments that they have read but not once fucking verified or even thought deeply about. This is so concerning.

Well, we are talking about abusers and those who defend them. I thought that was pretty obvious.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 07/03/2024 18:04

I thought that was pretty obvious
Don't get your thought process if you think it was obvious who you were referring to when you were quoting and replying to a comment about Myra Hindley and how she's just a victim - people ere supposed to be mind readers now?!
Not Ian Brady victim, just someone else you've randomly pulled in to the conversation and expect everyone to immediately know who you're on about as "it's obvious." 🙄

ForCoralFox · 07/03/2024 17:30

Again, no one has provided a credible source for that statistic.

This one? The one with the sources stated? The one you resolutely ignored on the other thread, along with the graphic with stats on prisoners convicted for a sexual offence?

Hollyoaks - well this is creepy!

It's sickening

What I find sickening is your continued deflection from the actual point that was being made which is that 99% of sexual crimes are committed by men and that being a trans woman doesn't make you any less likely to commit this kind of crime than any other man.

You are persisting in making this about Myra Hindley, who factually was an accomplice to Brady in their crime, and are trying to use this fact to make out that this is excusing her actions.

This is not about Myra Hindley who is an outlier to those statistics. It is about the fact that Men, however they identify pose a risk to women.

Again, when you have no point to make all you have left is making shit up.

I wonder what people would think if it were an older male evangelical Christian, or Muslim, in a family home of a tweenaged girl who is convinced she wants to join his sect and he was asking “if you’re sure” or saying “it’s the best feeling”, how would that go down.

Cancelledcurio · 07/03/2024 18:26

@ForCoralFox did you do your safeguarding training at Mermaids ? I have worked in safeguarding for nearly 16 /17 years. Anyone who has knows that 'family friends' can be dodgy too. My parents had a family "friend" who used to make comments about my wee developing breasts and arse when I was around that girl's age. Never in front of my parents, of course. I learned to clear the feck off when the creepy fecker came over.

Or someone with a crack pipe "if you're sure" "it's the best feeling"

Children should not be encouraged to believe that it's safe to go off with any stranger, man or woman. Never heard of Myra Hindley? Ghislaine Maxwell? Plenty of women are paedophiles, or groom children on their behalf.

“plenty” of women are paedophiles?
Utter, utter bollocks. Absolute CRAP.

CorvusPurpureus · 07/03/2024 19:06

ForCoralFox · 07/03/2024 16:06

I don't remember specifically but I think it must have happened regularly. This is a normal part of life. Are you really saying no man except a parent should ever be alone with a child?

So a man is alone with a female child in this clip, yes?

Peskysquirrel · 07/03/2024 19:08

That all depends on who you ask, @CorvusPurpureus !

But yes, the older person is a male person, the younger person a female person.
