There are a number of articles appearing on Twitter about some leaked files from WPATH. The impending scandal is taking far too long to break, but there are more and more signs that journalists are no longer ignoring the situation.

Because there really is no defense for how WPATH has been accepted as an authority on anything. Plain sight.

No one will get involved in aftercare of the butchery in the US once the lawsuits start. That's the real tragedy of the American health care system.

I would be inclined to give the likes of Moyle, et al., the benefit of the doubt and say they were thick as mince, otherwise they would have to be positively evil to knowingly promote this fucking nonsense.

I can see a very tiny and slight issue with pursuing any of these absolute shysters along the lines of “informed consent” concerning unevidenced and experimental therapies. There have been a very large number of healthy people who were persuaded and coerced into doing precisely the same quite recently

I disagree about giving people such as politicians the benefit of the doubt. Why should we? We were able to open our minds and read around this, enquire into it, ask what is going on and join the dots. It's not even our job to do that.

Plus I've never shared a platform with someone who's done time for heinous offences.

So the NHS is lying about the involvement of NHS staff with this dangerous organisation?

This is all so horrific. And tragic. Transgender " care" seems to be the only care where opinions from non medically qualified people, and appearances seem to matter more than what's best for any of the patients. If you took people with the same exact illness/condition , some may opt for surgery, some may opt for medical approach and some may opt for nothing at all. Neither choice invalidates or is reflective of anyones opinion on the choices others make. But this, it seems causes extreme anger and offence is taken unless everyone regardless of pre existing conditions, health, age , sex, backgrounds, support systems etc is given the exact same course of " treatment " . Each case must placate everyone else.

The WPATH website allows a search for members by country. This is the UK list that came up when I tried it this morning.

The gov.uk website has a list, dated 15 Feb 2024, of GMC registered doctors and psychologists in the UK who specialise in gender dysphoria (in relation to GRD applications).

I started to compare the lists and could see one name linked to an NHS Trust with WPATH membership. There's also a GP who's a WPATH member and is linked to training NHS staff. Haven't looked in depth.

Having now read all 242 pages all I wish to say is

WPATH ARE A BUNCH OF FUCKING BASTARDS

It also shows a very disturbing clip from the files of a man (?) saying that speaking to a 13 year old girl about fertility is like speaking to a blank wall or "ew, babies" - which is what many/ most teen girls say.

I can’t disagree with you. The number of young teens who’re being led down this pathway by so-called professionals horrifies me.

I need to note that Genevieve Gluck has also done a lot of the ground work for this. And had no media interest.

I'm currently having trouble shaking the depressive cloud that has appeared above my head after reading it. I feel the urge to go and find a hill top on which to scream loudly.

I knew they were a bunch of cowboys but page after page after page of it all laid out just shows them for what they actually are.

Every single one of them should be in prison.

Yes, it was on purpose, something I wrote in response to my own situation, but it also felt appropriate as a response to what @Boiledbeetle had just said.

People who should know better leaving kids broken and bleeding.
Actually saying the quiet bits out loud and without feeling.
They dare to operate aimlessly not caring if kids are healing.
