Anyway, I’ve made a further complaint saying that the BBC response isn’t good enough and I want an explanation about why their flagship presenters aren’t allowed to state a scientific fact.

We should so be buying Justin an "Eppur si muove" T shirt.

I came across this piece of information in an article about the Justin Webb ruling. There is a statue of George Orwell outside BBC Broadcasting House with a quote of his inscribed into the wall:

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear"

The BBC allowed that sentiment to be carved into the wall of their headquarters, yet also believe that Justin Webb was wrong to state a fact? Bonkers.

How interesting.

Froodwithatowel · 08/03/2024 13:48

That will be head first in a harbour any moment now.

That statue is so interesting.

Was just reading a week old Times article re the cat killer. It referred to the cat killer as a transgender woman which I still think is so misleading, especially as they use she/her pronouns.

They then refer to transgender women with male genitalia being kept in male prisons.

I'm really surprised of the Times, I thought it was GC, and to even entertain that there is a category of woman that has male genitalia is just neo-religion/flat earthing to me.

Transwomen are male

Transwomen are male

Can't be said enough. My DSis got confused over which was which in a discussion about women's sport today. Again, this was the plan, to disrupt and mess with people's understanding. Not a bug.

Not0nlyButAlso · 09/03/2024 20:52

Why does the BBC WANT the public to remain confused?

Froodwithatowel · 09/03/2024 22:29

Because if they fully understood it, the BBC are afraid they would reject it.
