Does anyone actually fully support trans people in women's changing rooms and loos?

Just curious really? I see a lot of aggressive stances (Owen Jones eg) pro this on twitter etc. I don't get it.
The only reason I can think of is that it's never actually happened to them and they imagine it will be fine but when it actually happens a few times they might start seeing sense?

For the men who are aggressively pro it I wonder how they would feel is women just started flooding into their changing rooms and bathrooms ?

😬. No, you don't.

I trust the doctors more than you. And if not I get my money back so can try again with a different clinic.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 17/02/2024 20:44

There are no guarantees.

Barbie222 · 17/02/2024 20:50

After 3 rounds of donor IVF I have a 99% chance of having a baby.

🤔

HagoftheNorth · 17/02/2024 20:54

Hmm, PP82, do you also think that puberty blockers are reversible?

PronounssheRa · 17/02/2024 20:51

A bit of a derail but the NHS stats

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/ivf/

Success rates for women over 42 are very low.

With your own eggs, yes. Not with donor eggs. Also UK fertility clinics are shit. Fortunately I don't live there.

PronounssheRa · 17/02/2024 21:00

I wish PP82 well on their ivf journey, but I'm genuinely boggled that the journey they are on is entirely a result of the biology they are denying.

Is this what a reproductive endocrinologist has told you are your chances, or is this a universal you?

Donor eggs generally. The age of the donor is what matters. The age of the person receiving the treatment is irrelevant. I know I have no problems reproductively other than my age, so no reason I would be some unfortunate exception.

I mean, I don't think biology doesn't exist. Just that it isn't important in terms of defining people.

I have no idea.

Somehow this is coming to my mind now

“That will do extremely well, child. You have delighted us long enough”

Justwrong68 · 17/02/2024 21:28

When Owen Jones speaks, he's thinking of boys that grow up with gender dysphoria, truly believe they're in the wrong body and will commit suicide if they don't "transition". In reality, the umbrella of trans covers a huge amount of personalities; and the ones we'll see in the toilets will be transvestites, autogynephiles, people with histrionic and narcissistic personality disorders who don't like to be prohibited from anything. Owen has no interest in protecting women's hard earned rights to single sex spaces; only that he's projecting the right image according to what he thinks is a kind and socialist agender.

P&P the 1995/BBC version 😍

You don't have to trust me. No reputable doctor has told you this. If any doctor has; don't trust them either.

I heard that in Mr Bennett's voice.

I wish you the best on your fertility journey but any medical professional who has told you this is not only wrong, they are also completely unethical.

I therefore believe you are using the phrase '99% chance' as an alternative way of saying 'really good chance.'

I wish you well but if you really do believe that statistic literally then your fertility clinic are completely unethical and not fit for purpose as a result of that.

Justwrong68 · 17/02/2024 21:37

@Peskysquirrel worth remembering that now it is: fight, flight or freeze. Freeze is what women do in terrifying situations

If it isn’t important in defining people, how do doctors know which class of people to put embryos into during an IVF cycle? 🤔

NotBadConsidering · 17/02/2024 21:43

Do they insert the embryos up the urethras of women with penises I wonder?

There's no such thing as a sex class.

Trans women can't get pregnant. Don't be silly....

You clearly know nothing about donor egg IVF. That's why you use a donor. Because the success rates are so much greater.

Set in a time when men were men and women were women… despite the limitations and restrictions we still seem to be fighting 200 years later.
