I think some men and pro trans hand maidens are mad that KJK is DOING something.
They would much prefer she just disappear or that her activism is just trite articles on websites no one reads or thick books for £12 a piece written from a place of middle class security.

KJK and LWS and LWS Stewards ALL OVER THE WORLD are actually, factually and provably doing things... And men and the cock shining male ego polishers don't like it.

We didn't get to where we are now because of Labour.

Patently untrue as their legislation (which was abysmally-drafted, like much of it is) is what opened the doors to this.

The Tories are starting to sort this issue out (see Kemi Badenoch's work on it). And also, people don't want them to remain in charge, so they're desperately trying to get Labour to see sense.

The LDs and Greens are so far down the rabbit hole that I'm not sure anything will get through to them!

Patently untrue? wtaf???

Who the heck has been in power for the last 14 years? they could have certainly got rid of the GRA at anytime esp since 2015.

Instead they have eroded women and family rights & actually made becoming a "woman" easier, though i guess you'd also blame the crisis in SENDs and the cuts in funding on David Blunkett.

As i said, given the next GE result is by no means certain, all parties need to be held to account,
I just dont single out 1 party nor give a free pass to the Tories which is what some posters seem to want to do, they are not interested in womens rights, rather seek to use this vital issue to hit other parties with.

Nope. You're still using lazy thinking in your last paragraph. It's really fucking boring being told we all just want to vote Tory.

Yep. All parties have questions to answer.

I'm looking forward to following this in the run up to the election.

My money is on noone in real life being that interested and it just being online hot air to the benefit of KJKs ego

Alternatively she's going to look stupid at the hustings. I think Starmer will be very used to responding to the kinds of things she might bring up, he's a top flight barrister after all. It's a bit different to debating idiots like Adrian Harrop.

From what I've read about KJK, almost everyone appears to think she's hard to work with. So I'm not sure the party will grow.

I'd have a lot more respect for her if she also had a good candidate to stand against Sunak. What happened to Venetia Allen? Maybe she could do it

Anyway 🍿

She says it herself. Yet still women want to work with her.

She’ll be fine

She can get women together on the other side of the world

To be punched at and her life threatened by misogynistic males no less

Women will turn up to join

Nope. You're still using lazy thinking in your last paragraph. It's really fucking boring being told we all just want to vote Tory.

Its lazy thinking to focus solely on a party that isn't in power for 14years, blaming them for the GRA, whilst ignoring the simple fact the GRA could have been reformed or repealed at anytime.

As for Kemi Badenoch, all she is doing is shifting blame to the ECHR. The GRA is UK legislation, its got nothing to do with an International court but of course blaming the ECHR fits in with the current narrative of "we are ruled by foreigners" crap.

At the risk of repeating myself, i'd like KJK to have a debate with all the main party leaders and ask them some very pertinent questions, both on policy, ideas and most importantly, Actions.

So either nobody will be interested or she's going to look stupid. They're the only two options you think are available to her?

You're forgetting that Starmer will have to only say what the party want him to say in response, so however he replies will be in that vein, regardless of his previous career. If that means sticking to the 1% of women have a penis line, it's not KJK who's going to look stupid.

the GRA could have been reformed or repealed at anytime.

Have you read up on what this entails? There are some good threads on here for insight.

And it’s only been a few years since the public recognised the issues, mainly due to men becoming more emboldened over time

And you are ignoring individual institutional agendas in this, take a look at that too

You're not understanding why Labour are being focused on though, are you? It's because people want to vote for them but can't with this nonsense going on and their lack of clarity over it.

Yes, hold the Tories to account, but most of us won't vote for them as, well, they're Tories!

EasternStandard · 10/02/2024 10:57

She had soup thrown at her and managed to make that look strong

Some give a bit too much headspace to hate following. Anyone doing something will get this.

I'm sure they will join. Its whether she can keep them that's a problem. As a singleton she's not going to have much impact, there are loads of independent candidates around so she'll have to work hard to break through.

Most voters are still very "red/blue" in a two party system as once they've turned out, they don't want to waste their vote. I don't think a sole candidate or an unstable party where people join/leave will be that appealing.

Did I say that? I think they are the two most likely options.

Starmer is the leader of the party. He'll say what he likes. Also he's a barrister so used to meticulously planning a counter argument, so he will do that in advance with his party. It's not particularly hard to anticipate what Posie is going to say. I think it will be a damp squib because she's not going to be able to rile him in the way she can with TRAs.

AdamRyan · 10/02/2024 11:08

OK, so Posie is going for floating voters who would usually vote Labour because of this issue. Therefore reducing Labour's vote share and increasing the chances the Tories will get in. Great. That's going to really help women

I hope she has some policies other than "women don't have penises" or she's going to look like a fool

I dunno. He got (ridiculously and unnecessarily) riled at Sunak this week at PMQs. Her message won't be dissimilar to his, and she won't care who's in the room (or not!) when she says it.

You gave two alternatives, suggesting they were the only options, so that was the impression you gave. Of course, you can backtrack now!

EasternStandard · 10/02/2024 11:11

I haven’t seen KJK look ‘stupid’ in any media event

Probably why she’s doing so well and getting coverage

As for Starmer ‘scared of his own shadow’ it all helps

NoWordForFluffy · 10/02/2024 11:11

Floating voters and people who can't vote Labour due to this issue. Plus Tory voters who are sick of them but don't want to vote for one of the usual alternatives. Plenty of scope.

You're determined to think the worst of her though, as I'm not sure you're concerned about her looking stupid, it's just what you're anticipating (based on no facts whatsoever).

borntobequiet · 10/02/2024 11:12

Also he's a barrister so used to meticulously planning a counter argument, so he will do that in advance with his party. It's not particularly hard to anticipate what Posie is going to say.

The problem for Starmer is that there are no clever arguments to counter common sense and a belief in reality. Anything he says will expose the shaky foundations of his ideology.

This is why the dirty tricks and smear brigade will be deployed as soon as possible.

AdamRyan · 10/02/2024 11:15

Well we will have to agree to disagree on PMQs. I would characterise Starmer as disgusted/offended rather than riled - I have a thread you can join to discuss it with me.

I can't help you with your reading comprehension, sorry. Clearly there are infinite options, KJK could have a damascene conversion on finding her husband is trans and be full on TWAW, she could turn up in a dinosaur costume and recite one of hairycarrots poems, she could get injured by a low flying pigeon on the way to hustings, the possibilities are endless...I'm not clairvoyant though so I just picked a couple of likely ones to throw into the debate.

EasternStandard · 10/02/2024 11:15

Plus KJK has biological facts on her side

Lawyer obfuscation does not. He will look more the idiot on that front.

Looking at these posts on how it will all be nothing or irrelevant makes me feel positive. The more time people put in to trying to drag someone down the more they care they are doing it at all
