I can only assume he posted the thread himself 👋 or his fan sent it to him. His comment is weird though, I'll assume he's quoting the thread heading. I think he was sent a link but didn't click it fast enough to see the thread so was trying to smear MN with the thin beer he was left with?

Yes. This is sad. He used to be a hero of mine. I never minded when he moved out to Dorset — many of my relatives moved out of London (most to Essex) when they earned enough. I don’t mind anyone improving their lives as they wish.

But oh, the misogyny, the dishonesty, the fingers-in-ears refusal to understand why women need our own spaces or why children shouldn’t be experimented on.

Ha, I had some teenage relatives here recently and the subject of Billy Bragg came up, they'd never heard of him either.

I explained that he was a pop singer decades ago but no-one listens to him now. They looked up one of his songs on YouTube and their pained expressions said it all. 😂
