I always feel a bit sad and ashamed for them when they go for the mumsnet score. It just shows they don’t read the site, or the help and support for women in so many dreadful and frightening situations across all the boards. I’m not sure if they don’t see it or hate that it exists to be honest, every time skiffle board Bill and his ilk come for mumsnet, there is an influx of arseholes across all the boards and it pisses me off. He’s just a sad old hooter honking away to himself and nobody cares.

Thought his music was shit before he became anti woman and really into men in ladies clothing.

I think he hasn't been relevant since before I was my teenagers age. Jog on grandad.

I can only see the linked post as I don't have twitter but surely anybody with any brains will wonder how he can prove/say that particular thread is about what he said it is. All it says is the thread has been deleted. That's it

When he first appeared I'd already had more than enough of political blokes with a grossly inflated opinion of their own abilities, rightness and importance, so he didn't impress me.

I tried to like his music, as a good socialist, back in the day, but I just couldn't. I think it was a combination of not liking his voice and finding his music overall tedious, although I might be misremembering. Perhaps it just didn't have a beat you can dance to 😄

I don't recall a Joey Barton thread. Is it an old one? Did he really save it to whisk out on the off-chance Barton said something misogynistic? He and Joey should go for a pint. I think they'd hit it off.

It was up very briefly yesterday - posted by a new poster - what a surprise! It was the usual tactic of posting something insane on here for a twitter outrage thread about mumsnetters thinking Barton (or some other misogynist) is great. MNHQ were on it - by the time I'd done an AS on the poster and confirmed they'd no posting history it had gone.
But amazingly, incredibly, unbelievably...... Billy had spotted it, saved it and up it pops on his twitter feed 24 hours later. I mean - who'd have thought it 🙄😂

I didn't see the thread but it's clear from the deletion message that MNHQ thought something odd was going on behind the scenes.

Maybe a goady thread, or a thread created for screenshot, who knows.

This site that has helped countless women leave men who beat and rape them, where women find a hand hold and invaluable advice when they are bereaved or their children are sick, where the 'stately homes' threads run into thousands of posts, where it's members give and seek advice on every topic under the sun...
