I have just seen this in the Times: Trans model shouldn’t represent British women, UN told

I am very pleased to see that various women's organisations are making the point so very clearly. I do not believe the UN women's role should go to an activist as a career move, rather than to a woman who understands the issues of VAWG.

I am keen to write myself and wondered if anyone has done so and got a reply.

Why does this person keep getting such positions?

A track record of racism, homophobia, misogyny and child safeguarding failure yet still appointed to represent women. 🙈

Not to mention asking women not to talk about issues that only affect females. How can they represent women?

Because yes, it's baffling. They say Bergdorf is involved in 'fashion' - by this, I think they mean he wears clothes.

There is absolutely no achievement or history there that would suggest that Bergdorf is in any way qualified to work in VAWG or any kind of political position.

I found this appointment so very depressing. We can't even be represented by someone of our own sex at the UN.

It simply beggars belief, doesn't it? But we've seen that the UN is absolutely determined to push a trans agenda and has a number of powerful and influential trans zealots working for them.

I've managed to link by going on my work PC. Slow night....

It's in the DT, too and the comments seem to be totally opposed to this appointment.

There's uncertainty about who and what UN Women actually is. Many think it's an arm of the United Nations while others say it's a charity with no link to that organisation. It's very confusing.

Thanks. Monroe has stated in interviews before they wont discuss what 'procedures' they've had done so the UN have hired someone who possibly has a penis to represent women 🤔 not that removing it makes anyone a woman.

This is so appalling. What qualifies this man to represent women and girls? What does he know about VAWG? As for using his position to highlight “transphobia” - give us a feckin’ break from your own issues, please.
