I have just seen this in the Times: Trans model shouldn’t represent British women, UN told

I am very pleased to see that various women's organisations are making the point so very clearly. I do not believe the UN women's role should go to an activist as a career move, rather than to a woman who understands the issues of VAWG.

I am keen to write myself and wondered if anyone has done so and got a reply.

The UN is a complete joke. It's simply not fit for purpose anymore.

The message seems to be that any male, even one entirely lacking in qualifications or experience, is more suited to a role representing women than any woman, however well-qualified or experienced.

Absolutely fucking mad.

It's a rather sad pattern that any time a male identifies into a position intended to represent women, they do not in fact wish to represent women, they wish to capture and re focus the position to amplify and represent the needs of male people who wish to identify as women.

Making very clear really that said males see themselves as an entirely different group to women.

Don’t you just love having the type of ‘freedom of speech’ that Insists women can only have an opinion if they tow the party line, and kowtow to regressive ideology. The suffragettes are turning in their graves. Oh hang, talking about suffragettes, didn’t a certain ‘representative’ for UN Women Uk, call suffragettes “white supremicists”.

I think if someone is desperately trying to be a different race and a different sex then they need compassion and proper mental health support.

I know we are currently 40 million women short of sex parity globally but surely one of the 4 billion women who do exist could’ve been persuaded to apply. No need to send MB in!
