I watched Bridget Jones for the first time the other day, as well as the sexist twaddle there are a few 'i accidentally shagged a transwoman' moments that you're supposed to find hilarious. And the gay friend character is hackneyed and paper thin. Kind of glad they don't make them like that now tbh, you'd feel awful watching it if you were gay or trans.

I love Flash Gordon, it has Brian Blessed, amazing outfits and Timothy Dalton in very tight trousers.

The makeup on Tootsie was extraordinary, fair play. i agree that the story would be hijacked today though.
