I volunteer for them but couldn't make it this year, we were told they tried to get her but couldn't so even the volunteers didn't know!!
I'm even more gutted I'm not up there now!!

Sadly no opportunity for getting a photo with her - she'd have been mobbed!

I wanted so much to go to Filia this year (particularly as it's closer to me this year than usual) but time and money were in short supply and I would have had to request an unreasonable amount of favours to go. Like you, I am even more gutted now!

Also side note, FiLiA want everyone to be able to attend. There are solidarity tickets for women who can't afford a ticket, there are groups of women who travel together to save cost, childcare is provided during the event. In future if you email there might be something we can do to help you attend. 💜🤍💚

Thank you for the info - that's really kind of you. My situation (money/childcare/time etc) should be in a better place for the next one so hopefully JKR will become a regular!

As an aside, I've seen elsewhere that women were at a different event, got a WhatsApp that JKR had arrived at Filia, stood up as a group, shouted 'JKR!' and went to see her 😄
