At #FiLia2023. The queue is being entertained by a bunch of bampots outside led by a MAN informing us that none of us are under 30, the white in the suffragette colours is for white supremacy & we are antisemitic. they’re holding up signs saying “trans makes Glasgow”. Sad people.

I hate the way the media uses 'transphobic' to describe everything these days, it's such lazy reporting. Filia is a women's event - women talking about women's issues - the fact that this is somehow controversial is bullshit.

I can't believe the venue caved initially - has everyone somehow lost the ability to just say 'no, go away' or just ignore people who are whining about something?
Also, why aren't Glasgow Trans Rally being called out for the bullies they are? Trying to get an event cancelled because you don't like what they have to say? Arseholes!

Being accused of being transphobic is feared by many and so they give up and give in.

More people need to say no, go away, we don't agree with you. Biological facts trump ideology. Thankfully more people are realising this.

Walked by on the way to work. The demo is across the road from women queueing to get into Filia...about 30 or so protestors. I was almost amused by the bearded bloke helping to hold a banner telling women that there's "no feminism without transwomen" banner. Almost.

I do hope onlookers and passing commuters will be curious and google Filia. That's a very busy station. Especially at rush hour.

I hope it's not unpleasant for women at Filia, but it is all excellent sunlight.

To any visitors to Glasgow - he does NOT represent our city. Glasgow has a long tradition of welcoming people, it's an open minded and friendly and kind hearted city.
