Thinking about the timing of this some more.
You're flying from London to Scotland.
Let's say it takes you an hour to get to the airport and you want to arrive when check in opens, so two hours before your flight. You set off three hours before your flight. Your flight takes an hour. Let's say it then takes you an hour to reclaim your baggage at the other end. No immigration to go through because this is a domestic flight. Then let's say it takes you two hours to get home, so we're now at seven hours. Let's add on an extra two hours for delays, so all in all you arrive at your destination in Scotland nine hours after you set off from your location in London.
As far as I can tell, barring any multiple hour delays in your flight taking off from London, nine hours is the absolute maximum time it is going to take you to get from door to door. In reality it is probably more like five or six hours.
A regular person who works a 9-5 job and isn't working from home is going to be out of the house for a minimum of nine hours on a normal working day.
So if someone has had a vaginoplasty and needs to do daily dilation, either:
A. they can't work
or
B. they manage to do it outside of working hours, in which case Herbert didn't need to do this at the airport before a short domestic flight
or
C. they need to take time out of their working day and have space provided at work so they can do this.
Which is it?
